Pranbir AT #9 - "...Kaise hua. Tu itna zaroori kaise hua?" - Page 50

With the lockdown, I doubt writers will give writing a rest. Writers can work from home easily, so I bet the writers are taking full advantage of the lockdown and show not being on air to write and throw around new track ideas for the show when it comes back on air. I have heard that all channels will be permanently taking a huge number of their shows off air and only a few will remain on air and those shows that the channels keep will be put on prime time slot between 8-9 pm. This year as a whole just feels so odd and weird... as if the world has come to a standstill.

I don't think there will be much romantic scenes being shot now when the show starts reshooting in june. I wonder what they will do though. Things are going to be difficult for writers with there being lots of restrictions.

This doesn't make sense to me. Why would they be shutting down so many shows?

They need to bring in solid drama. Enough of Maya Priyanaka xyz outsiders, there is so much meat already in the show. Sibiling rivalry minus the stupid murder plotting, love confession, jealousy, Abhigya having a showdown about their marriage/kids, Disha Purab Aliya, Aryan getting to know stuff, Shahana Aryan, maybe Ranbir getting a hint about Abhigya, tension between Pallavi Rhea Prachi, so much stuff. Like PR used to be. They never needed outsiders and even when they brought focus was on the main leads. If many shows goes offair they need more revenues to sustain, Ekta shows always brought TRP but its so slow. Same goes for the sister show, enough of snail space and letting things be for years.

I was rewatching Pranbir scenes from past 2 nights and it was amazing how much growth they had. Ranbir was the guy who was like you don't come near me or else shadi kar lunga, to you don't me, then getting hurt that Prachi thinks bad about him, standing by her to falling in love. Prachi went from upstuck to care for a guy so much she can go to any length for him. There was Sanju too who was like I will never forgive you for hitting me (I assume for Prachi?) If we see other characters they are all almost same as 1 year prior. There was a little growth for Aryan Shahaha but Rhea Alia is stuck at being bitchy cursing pragya/disha/prachi, abhi still don't know stuff, purab still staying and disha is MIA. Mehra family other people is missing like dashi, meera, that funny bhabhi (forgot name). Also bring in Sunny. So much masala even forum writers know how to utilize. Just do it it's now and never.

Not sure... it was reported by gossipstv on instagram.... heard apparently it's the more profitable and high rated shows only they will keep, plus it makes sense because the entertainment industry has actually faced a huge financial loss due to everything being on standstill, and shows are expensive to run for ITV, so it would be easier for them to save money if they shut down less profitable shows now, plus even now everything in terms of shooting will not get back to normal as shootings will be happening with many restrictions and guidelines in place and some places are still not safe and clear to shoot, so it makes sense that channels for now try and ensure at least their biggest and most profitable shows are brought back on air as quick as possible and they run too if not all of their shows.

Yeah true that apart from pranbir characterisation and bond there has been no growth anywhere else in the story or other characters. Some characters will always stay the same for story convenience like the vamps so no expectations of change there.

Sanju is the only additional character brought in to stir trouble that I have really liked, unlike priyanka and maya. Even the two kidnappers/ contract killers from prachi kidnapping track were good. I guess it's all the female vamps/ cameos that just appear very unbearable and annoying.

I doubt that ranbir will be the one to suspect any link between abhigya.... at this point even now I can tell that the writers are still keen on stretching the story. I just wonder what this lockdown must have been used for by writers to write because they must have still been coordinating ideas and continuing writing.

Regarding the writers, they might have thought up of tracks, or story arcs, but they must be limited given the kind of access they have to shooting locations. I hope they use this time wisely and tighten up their story rather than stretching it out like a chewing gum.

Zee needs to increase its ranking now since they have been out of top 10 channels for a while. So I think they need to show something dramatic. I too hope its not stretched.

But who will be the vamp? Naina seems to have left the show and Shikha will also not be available. So only left is Maya and if maya is the villain they will stretch the track Or better be sanju back.

Whatever writing they have thought, now they might have to revise will all the restrictions. Now the work of director will be very difficult.

Hopefully they replaced Naina :3 and yeah Maya's track will mostly be dragged till marriage,I don't see them dragging it further :3 I hope they don't get them married or something just to drag the track :3 they can focus on abhigya meeting and clearing the misunderstandings and stuff instead :3
