She will not face any real backlash on this particular topic, so she jumped the bandwagon. Whereas it would have taken real courage to speak up about issues closer home (remember what Deepika did and the repercussions she had to face as a result?)

I thought the same thing. Its easy to criticise and show support for something that is happening so far away but did she say anything for migrants?

Because they hate the Chinese as much as they hate the “wrong” kind of Blacks

As for Kareena, I’ll give her credit for this but she should either speak up when atrocities also happen in her own backyard or just stick to posting silly stuff

especially with the kaali billi past and her doing blackface in her movies, this response is so hollow.. also as you said, putting up a post about about killings in US would not invite any negative attention as nobody there is checking for her

Also, what Kareena has to say on BLM will make little or no impact for the cause, because she's a nonentity in America.

But in India, where she is popular and taken seriously, a strong condemnation on oppression of minorities would have gone a long way and made a great impact. But she chickened out because it would invite negative press for from the Right Wing.

When I saw that post, I just rolled my eyes. I am sorry but it just has zero impact ..she is nobody in America. First speak about the things that happen in India, but there they are too scared to say anything because their endorsement, movies, money is on the line. That’s where it will make a difference, not here in US.

Wish these Brothelwoodiyas spoke up about the cause of Kashmiri Hindus as well who were ethnically cleansed in their homeland and are still threatened if they try to go back. Unfortunately their cause isn't fashionable/subaltern enough so they'd instead be humiliated by movies like Shikara which trivializes their genocide 👎🏼.

She's been trying to woo the woke audience since last 1-1.5 years, henc that radio show hence the thiusand interviews where she's been trying to create a different image. Because after a certain age launde lapande leaves the actresses and that time they survive on movies that's catered to woke folks.

She probably posted this cos her PR told her so or maybe Saif..I doubt she cares about anyone/anything except herself, her family and friends 😆

Wahin toh. Her PR wants to give her a woke-friendly rest of the career.
