Are the main money-spinners still the big-budget films only?

Exceptions are of course there, like Ayushman's films. But by and large, the trend is that big-budget movies rake in the moolah. Why is it like that?

I guess there are multiple reasons😒, some of them being

• They gobble up maximum share of screens when they are released. Loot and Scoot formula 🤡.
• Star Value ⭐️
• Some of them are actually well made films 😆
• People love to see such film 👍🏼
• Marketing and promotion. 🤢

They spent money on people who can guarantee them a profit . Anurag Kashyap made a big budget movie and we know what happened
