First impressions which turned out wrong?

What is your first impression of an actor/actress that turned out wrong in the long run?

After watching Saawariya and Sonam's innocent beauty, I was rooting for her instead of Deepika.

Siddharth malhotra. I really wanted to see him in Sty after trailer. Was disappointed with his wooden acting. Only Varun Dhawan impressed me in acting department.

Yeah, I know. All girls had a huge crush on Sid. Which kind of dissipated after his bad acting and low screen presence!

She was great in kedarnath but LAK was bad .

Hope I am wrong though.

I agree with @YoWorld...... even i thought Sara would be great.....but she was too thandaa.......and only had 3 releases till now.....

First impressions

1)She is so pretty

Somehow, I fell in love with Alia and Deepika. Sonam was my first fav, I still like her but she was an instant fav.

My judgment has mostly been wrong. After watching first SOTY, I thought that Alia and Varun won't make it big despite being nepotism kids, I wasn't impressed much by them but Siddharth M looked good so I placed my bets on him. And it's completely opposite, Varun and Alia are doing great and Sid M is still struggling.

After Ayushmann won his debut in Vicky Donor, even then I thought he won't be able to make it in Bollywood not mainly because of his acting as I liked it plus I liked his singing but, I thought that he doesn't have looks which is one of the main factors for people to lead the industry plus his not belonging to film background might be a big hindrance. Also ,he wasn't launched by any big name like KJo( I mean he didn't get much hype despite Vicky Donor won many awards). But today he is one of the top actors (by box office numbers especially) and has become one of my favourites.

Also, I thought Arjun would do well but he is one of the worst products of nepotism by now.

Same like you said about Sonam, I thought, she would be better than Deepika, I liked her more than Deepu but it's reverse now.

During OSO days always thought deepika as an intelligent smart woman.

Same thoughts for salman

Both turned out to be brainless .
