consider them getting awards for the professor of the year and grants + funding for their research..ooo then we have politics there...

I did have tough, bad, ok, good and great profs. but what poor Alina said failing most of the students that prof has some serious problem............

lol academia has a bad rep ...there are so many PhDs ppl entering the industry rather than being professors...the post doc that i researched with said he never wanted to enter the academia because of the political shit that goes w/in the system...academia lost its quality for the sake of money and achieving status esp after getting tenured as an Associate professor or just professor...then forget about it..

Initial years have those burden too

hmm ...again it depends on the severity of the problem...the uni should also look into how many students drop mid semester...like a class of 30 to class of 5-10 ppl

Although I liked some on my liberal arts courses like a literature class I took that focused on novels written by second-generation authors. I think I liked it because I could relate to it.

hmm, there are electives that students can choose on their own will but my university also required every student irrespective of the major to take religion/theology courses which is what i didn't like ...the professors were amazing but it wasn't something that i wasn't into...i ensured to get rid of those cores in my first three semesters...i didn't want to take summer courses because they were expensive/no scholarship offered...

Students were doing great in the class...my sister took the class that semester

@bold meant that particular prof.s class, not the subject

Freshman year was rough but that was my fault. I had a lot of independence all of a sudden and didn't take school seriously...social life was great though

Sophomore year I got my life together and re-evaluated what I wanted in life. Studied hard and focused and it was my best year!

Junior year was the worst for me. I became overly ambitious after a really successful sophomore year so I took multiple challenging classes together and no matter how hard I studied, I ended up just so stressed out and tired

Senior year figured out life again...not as successful as sophomore year but I balanced everything while still taking hard classes but I felt more mentally relaxed even though life after graduation terrified me because I didn't know what I was going to do

I ended up taking a gap year and honestly...I haven't felt this happy and relaxed in years. I think it will help me perform better when I go back to school rather than if I had jumped directly in because I feel more refreshed now but also I'm scared that what if I forgot how to study 😆

^LOL I just wrapped up my whole life in a paragraph 🤣

Yes you did😊

it depends on each students...i think the students who end up of staying till the end of semester would pass unless the student is performing pathetically & just needs a passing grade to fulfill the requirement or something..
