Anupamaa: Anu meets her fan Prerna; Is she Rajini’s daughter?

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Rajini makes another attempt to secure Anupama's thumb impression on a set of documents, but her plan falls flat yet again. Watching Anupama even in an unconscious state, Rajini reflects that betraying her is nearly impossible, as her conscience seems alert even while asleep.

Later, Leela arrives with a bowl of sweets, and a weak Anupama asks her to lovingly feed her. Leela reassures her, urging her to stay calm and trust that things will eventually fall into place. Anupama responds thoughtfully, saying that hope is what keeps everyone going in life.

The mood shifts when Pakhi informs Anupama that she has returned the money to Sarita. Leela firmly states that they have simply done what was right and no favours were involved. Pakhi then questions Anupama, asking if she was truly prepared to send Ishani behind bars. Taken aback, Anupama asks Pakhi if she is being serious. Pakhi argues that it is unfair for a grandmother to take such a harsh step against her own granddaughter. Losing patience, Anupama warns Pakhi to leave the room before she completely loses her composure.

Khyati’s Shocking Invitation and Vasundhara’s Stern Warning

Shortly after, Anupama receives an unexpected call from Khyati, who invites the entire Shah family to Prarthana's baby shower. Both Anupama and Leela are left stunned by the invitation. Anupama responds with a sharp remark, saying that once the baby is born, she will tell the child that his grandmother had once invited her for the baby shower. Khyati, however, makes her stance clear and firmly declares that she will not hand over Aryan to anyone. Her words leave Anupama and Leela shocked.

The situation escalates when Vasundhara takes over the call and reprimands Anupama, stating that Prarthana's child will carry the Kothari name, not Shah. After the call ends, Leela grows anxious, fearing that Vasundhara might create distance between Ansh and Prarthana. She urges Anupama to intervene before Vasundhara manipulates the situation further.

Rahi Grows Suspicious of Rajini and Varun

Meanwhile, Rahi and Prem visit Rajini's house. Rahi nearly comes across the chawl redevelopment papers, but Rajini and Varun quickly hide them, raising Rahi's suspicion. Elsewhere, Anupama decides to bring some joy into her life by becoming Santa Claus and celebrating Christmas.

While walking on the road, she saves Prerna from a potential accident and scolds her for being careless and wearing headphones while crossing. Prerna is left stunned when she realises she has met Anupama and excitedly reveals that she has been a huge admirer ever since watching her on Superstar Chef. She even admits to following Anupama closely, almost to the point of stalking her.

Anupama’s Christmas Spirit and Prerna’s Sudden Entry

At the same time, Pakhi continues to influence Ishani, advising her to attend parties freely and not live in fear of Anupama. According to Pakhi, fear will only restrict Ishani's growth and confidence in life. Back with Anupama, Prerna can barely contain her excitement and expresses her happiness at meeting her idol. Anupama blesses her warmly, and Prerna decides to spend Christmas with her. As festivities begin, Rahi spends time with Rajini, who makes light-hearted yet meaningful comments, saying Rahi cracks jokes with complete seriousness. She compares Rahi and Prem while also praising Anupama for her goodness. Rahi, however, subtly remarks that Anupama's kind-hearted nature often ends up benefiting everyone around her.

The Christmas celebration continues as Anupama and Prerna spend cheerful moments together. In an emotional gesture, Rajini gifts Rahi her daughter's bracelet, expressing her heartfelt wish that her daughter returns home someday. This leaves Rahi conflicted, as she finds it increasingly difficult to understand Rajini's true intentions. Rajini later tries to reach Anupama over the phone, but the call goes unanswered. Anupama then distributes chocolates to people around her, but an unsettling moment follows when Prerna reacts in a strange and unexpected manner after eating one.

A terrified Ishani cries out for help, leaving Anupama deeply worried about her safety. Leela warns Rahi about Prem and Prerna, but Rahi dismisses her concerns, stating that Prem and Prerna share nothing more than a friendship.
