Oh yeah me too!! But all thanks to my geography teacher who I had crush on😆

There used to be a game on Facebook... Where they give a city name or a monument n then u had to pin a flag nearest to where its located on globe.. based on the distance you get points. Closer the better.. I was crazy for that game...

There are lot of Americans who have stayed in the same state in their lives or have visited only few US states near them . Its really expecting a lot for them to know the capital city in India .

I used to memorise the capital cities mainly from the office diaries where they would list the country and capital cities 😆 .

I had a former coworker who was planning to visit Wisconsin for first time 😲. Wisconsin is literally a neighbouring state .

People dont really know of any place unless they have a desire to visit that country. In US you hardly hear anything about India on the news. In India they talk about US the whole time. I dont think even you know of all the countries in Africa or Europe. How many cities do you know of in Argentina or Brazil or Belgium other than the capitals?

Also India is a shitty place. Sorry it might offend us Indians but thats the truth. Its a culture shock when ppl land in India and see so much traffic, poverty, filth on the sides of the roads. We are desensitized from the wide gap between the poor and the rich in India but others arent used to it.

That's true we can't know all!! But to some extent I have noticed we Indians are still better on knowing about geography and politics of many countries. You also might have come across many foreigners n sumwhr noticed it??

India is Definitely a place of culture shock for many foreigners.. 😆 "why are so many people on the road" "are they going somewhere" "how come autorickshaw on highways" 😆 it's fun when we get such questions.

It was so much fun.. especially had to memorize maximum cities from letter A and the ones that end with A. 😆 so that make it hard for others.
