Google can't clear my confusion, so you please bear the pain of explaining if I am wrong.

Doesn't internalized misogyny, it is basically a form of saying that it is men brain washing women against women, or to be more simple men's oppression of women have lead to women hating their own.

But the behaviour I have observed is that more as women frustrated that they are misrepresented by those who use women card just for their benefits.

See obviously there can be many alternatives, like you said internalized, with some women trying to gain men's attention, so they go against their own kind. Or those girls who don't get the male gaze, and are jealous of other women who get that male gaze, and best way to outsed them(according to those, not me) is to sl!t sham them.

But I think it is much more dynamic than mere traditional sexism. I think it may be in some way similar to old fashioned macho man hating the new world male.

Good? He was acting retarded in the movie, like a mental patient! He completely misinterpreted the character's internal conflict and made it near-farcical!

I don't get it, Varun is criticized on the forum for playing tapori characters but Kartik seems to get leeway despite playing misogynistic roles throughout!

I watched an interview of his with Anupama and I can appreciate his grind cause that guy has struggled. But his claim to fame is all wrong. Here's the thing. Would he be where he is right now if not for those rants? Not really.

That recent post of his mock throwing his sister off the balcony cause she couldn't cook was disturbing though. Wasn't funny. Let's hope he doesn't think like his characters.

Exactly! Ranbir has always been praised for roles that required to show internal conflict. He does it better than any bollywood actor in my opinion. It's not just in Imtiaz movies where all conflicts in the story is mainly internal. Even in commercial flicks like YJHD or ADHM there were moments where Ranbir wouldn't say a word but you pretty much know all his internal struggles.
