How is Kartik Aryan so popular?

What are your thoughts on him?

He seems like a one-trick pony, but he's getting all the hype and adulation. Even Love Aaj Kal 2 opened at 12 crores. Teenagers are crushing on him left, right and centre.

Don't really get the hype. To me, he is average on all fronts. What made him succeed?

He deserves. I liked him in PKP1 itself. Happy that finally he is becoming popular.

Yeah a lot of ppl like him, among the younger crowd. But I won't say he deserves it. He seems so ordinary to me😳 Even in Luka Chuppi, I found Kriti better.

Oh no😔

I like him. He is okay looking, but a natural actor. I feel he is very relatable to young Indians. Like a boy-next-door vibe. He has a good comic timing.

I love all his films.

Because he played a characters who are like the rakhwala and defender of the guys and girls who are against the Didis of the modern society. The ones he rants against in PKP. There are plenty of new age girls who are becoming an unusual mix of conservatism and first wave feminism, they don't like the millenium feminist/radical wave feminists, gold diggers and convience feminists. So they tend to support guys more than girls. And Karthik has got a plenty of fans from that group of girls.

Plus he is a desi urban guy persona, does time pass movies which attracts the urban lot. And even though forum finds him a rooster, many girls crush on him.

I am not sure either. I liked him only in PKP series (1 and 2)

Later he became one note or disinterested, chasing stardom more than his acting.

He lack the aura in Guest in london, SKTKS or luka chuppi. Love aaj kal, less said the better. He is becoming one note these days, following Ayushman route (however little more youngster than him).

Tbh I understand the appeal amongst the girls at least because he's quite cute lmao. I like his chocolate-brown eyes and his hair 😌

Well Im above the crushing age but I get the appeal. He has the BTS/KPOP vibe going for him😆
