Because he 'showed' women 'their place' Savior and mouthpiece of abla men who can't speak up through his many whiny voiced rants. And it helps that he's middle class so he's their bhai as well lol.

And why he has a girl fan following... For teen girls all this doesn't matter. They find someone cute they drool over him But grown ass women can do it as well. They can just ignore the ugly misogynistic rants orated by a loser and scripted by another (Luv Ranjan) because of internalized misogyny. I mean the biggest example of this : take a look at the amount of women drooling over Siddharth guy from Bigg Boss. If that's possible Kartik's rants ko kuch bhi nahi hain. You can just ignore it and not care about it.

I watched an interview of his with Anupama and I can appreciate his grind cause that guy has struggled. But his claim to fame is all wrong. Here's the thing. Would he be where he is right now if not for those rants? Not really.

That recent post of his mock throwing his sister off the balcony cause she couldn't cook was disturbing though. Wasn't funny. Let's hope he doesn't think like his characters.

you are clearly not following Indian social media if you have missed that there is a increasing numbers of girls from all communities, who totally are fan of Luv Ranjan movies led by Karthik Aryan, especially that rant of his in PKP.

Go to meme groups and meme pages, you will see many girls have bought into this men are also victim thing. I mean during the trolling if Neha Dhupia or recent brutal trolling of Tik toker girls, girls have been more vicious than even boys. So it is not true that females are overlooking, they are actually supporting men against the a particular kind of females, mostly feminists. But here by feminists, I don't mean the textbook feminist, but whatever meaning it has become today in general description. It is not internalized, it is an direct attack. See I am not saying it is right or wrong, that is upto you, but situation isn't like you are saying, that girls don't care if they are ignoring, they are actually drawn to those exact rants.

And mind you, Karthik has more female fans than male fans, male fans prefer the likes of Tiger and Shahid for Kabir Singh. Karthik hardly has done movies catering to the males, because he hardly ever played the macho role. He mostly plays chutiya type roles. He doesn't have that solid male fan base.

No idea. He is not physically attractive, body or face. His acting is below most current actors. He is better than Salman Khan and worse than Siddharth Malhotra
