Asha tells Gunwant about all the plans Kirtida has been making to stop the wedding. She also adds that he is the only one who has been delivering justice in this house. Gunwant says he will do the same today provided the truth is out first. And when ahsa tells she has locked Kirtida in the store room, the way he gets shocked and is angry...it is seen when he moves his hand away. Asha tells that she will reveal Kirtida's game plan to everyone if Raja's marriage doesn't happen that say. She threatens him in the right way without her own knowledge by talking about the respect of the family...of losing his reputation. Reluctantly he agrees to allow Raja's marriage to happen without Kirtida's presence. Now here is what I liked about Asha, she tells him to teach Kirtida a lesson in his way and not scold her but sadly she doesn't know that the lesson of family being your sole happiness needs to be learnt by Gunwant himself.
Mehul's dialogue was good here. At least he spoke something sensible for once. Gunwant sends all of them inside but Raja stays along. Gunwant pays a lot of money and still Raja doesn't even ask....it's weird though. Gunwant scared that Asha will expose his secrets tells Raja to just get married...
The wedding rituals start in detail. While Raja and Rani are being tied the Shagun ka Dor, Rani is seeing that and Raja is seeing her. And the brief moment when the two see each other...My goodness...it was so beautiful. It was like they were just telling each other, Shagun ka dor band gaya, ab sirf hum dono ki dor bandni hai. They were looking so cute together.
Meanwhile, Kirtida is trying her best to attract people so that they can help her but her mouth is closed and she is stuck on the wall. Now she will understand the pain of getting locked in a room when you want something to happen. She wonders what Gunwant is doing...unfortunately Asha has played the cards right and your dear husband is not on your side for now.
Raja and Rani are doing the antarpad ritual and even through the ritual they were constantly seeing into each other...uff that eye lock was so good. Special mention is the background music...somehow it made the scene very nice.
Jharna wants to help Kirtida, she surely knows something is wrong and Asha has done something so she goes. Thankfully Fai is there and she stops her. I am sure Jharna ditched Kirtida to get love from Fai so that she has a getter chance to rule this house over Rani.
Next is the varmala ritual. The two have to exchange the garlands. And finally, some sort of fun was there through this scene. Finally, it felt like a wedding. Rani tries making Raja wear the garland but he wants to play with her and moves away. Now this is what is called true love...there is romance defining love on one side but the other side there is respect, there is a sense of oneness and belonging and also there is this feeling that you can play and pull the partners leg and they wouldn't mind it. And this is probably what he was doing...I agree that this thing is common in all weddings but still it gives that sense of wedding. Utsav sees Rani struggling and carries her...this again is an indicative of Utsav's relation with Rani...of course they are siblings but Utsav cares for her...He is protective and can never see her struggle and probably that's why he did not bother to lie and get her married to Raja.
Even Rani plays the same game as Raja and moved back so that he cannot. Somewhere I expected Raja to plead to her and then she bending down so that he can place the garland, nevertheless this scene was also good.
Even Gunwant to help Kirtida...after she is his partner in crime. But again Fai stops him. She is like a saviour in RanJa's life.
Next is the ritual of hasth milap, Rani places her hand on Raja's. That one second when she was not seeing him but he was seeing her, my my heart go haywire. It was so romantic...more than a eye lock. Then there is a eye lock with the title track playing. I must tell them, they are in the middle of a ritual, not in t heir bedroom. People are of course seeing them but that's not the point, it's just that they are in their wedding ritual. Rani finally sees away, she is feeling shy...And Raja continues seeing her only. I totally love this part...one of my favourites.
Time for ghat bandan, Kesha doe the ghat bandan. They were looking into each other even then. My God, look at the love struck couple!❤️ Jharna and Mehul's ghat bandan looked so ruka suka...these two were adding masala to this.
Rani's parents come to clean Raja's legs. As expected he refuses. I really don't understand the need to do such things I mean, if you want to show respect there are many ways....why a way where the relation of old and young is not kept in mind. Surely this ritual was made centuries back but as age goes by I think these things have to change. Raja is not a kinda guy who would oppose it but at least I was happy that he asked his mother first and then Rani if she was okay to let her parents do this.
So finally it's kanyadaan. This who scene was one of my favourites, not because Rani is finally Raja's but because of the way Raja handles her in her low point. There is always a happiness and sorrow in this scene...one side your parents are no more yours and on the other you are getting you love...there is always this posed emotion during this phase. And in such a condition what is really needed is support...And Raja's did that. He gave her that support by assuring her though his eyes and at the same time helps her hand and squeezed it from the other hand, again showing that he is always there to hold her together in tough times.
And and finally the pheras, in weddings this the most exciting part and of course the most important part for the entire life of the couple will stand on this foundation. And I totally loved the way Raja takes her hand...there was no hesitation form her side also to give in. Now the promises, I wanted two things during the promises, one was the flash back of their journey and the other was their own promises to each other rather than the standard ones. Their love is way more than these promises. Still I am happy with these promises....ranging from Raja being only and always devoted to Rani...No question can arise from this promise...He will never ever ditch Rani to her promising to stay by him always.
The best twist, Rani slips during the pheras and Raja holds her, saves her and catches her by her waist. With the title track playing, RanJa in that position looking into each other eyes...my goodness...what a romantic scene. All the most impact was that they were in those wedding costume.
Kirtida promises to herself that she will never let Rani into the house even though Asha won today.
Meanwhile, its time for mangalsutra pehnana and sindoor daan. Raja lovingly makes her wear the mangalsura...the symbol of their union. Not to forget the way he was seeing into her! And then he puts the sindoor, marking her as his forever. After the promises of always being there together, he marked as his forever. Finally Raja and Rani are husband and wife.
Asha asks Utsav for money amidst all this. Both the mothers are very happy...one for the money and the other for her daughters wedding. I wonder when Asha will realize her folly, her mistake will take her son away from her...he wanted to get married to Rani because he loved her and here Asha is getting happy for the money. Asha releases Kirtida from the gum. Kirtida shouts at her and promises to kill her. That scene of I love you was too good. Asha is super happy, she just stuffs the sweet into her mouth. And she does this victory dance, Dolera dol reva vagad mare hej levi che. History repeats itself...this is the best example. Asha flaunts everything because of the money, I wonder what will happen if she finds out that Utsav is cheating her.
All the guests give money to both the couples. Mehul has got a lot of money while Raja got only change...this part was really the arrow of the episode, directly hit me and the way Jharna's mother showed it out was horrible. Ma hi waisi haitoh, beto toh chodo hi.
On the other side, Kirtida is angry on Gunwant of why he was playing safe during the wedding. I just loved the fight between Kirtida and Gunwant. He asked her to dance and she was ready to dance, he commented that she has anyway become Anarkali, I was like there is a limit now, baccho k ishadi ho gayi par aise lad rahe hai jaise inke shadi hui hai.
Its Rani's bidaii on the other side, though they kept it as a low key affair, it was a emotional one.
Overall the episode was among the best ones, for RanJa together forever finally. I just loved every component in today's episode. Waiting for grah pravesh eagerly!
