Did Ekta kill off Varun also? I know Manish Raisinghani replaced Eijaz as Varun. Poor Raheja boys kept marrying Grewal's ex-gfs.

I think Rishi-Mehak ended up together somehow? Who killed Varun?🤪 If he didn't die, how did Mehak end up with Rishi?

What was Ekta's obsession with having kids out of wedlock and killing off guys?

Last night I had the same thoughts strike me around 4am so I googled it. Thanks to Wikipedia, it was stated that Varun and Mehek had a divorce then she married Rishi. Don’t know what happened to Varun at the end 😳

Also, the character of Tinnu Anand (the buddha) in the show was named Shabbir Ahluwalia😆 So much for originality. You named the character after another actor who is a part of your show.

Mehak had no self respect. Actually most of Kashish's sisters didn't. I dont even remember Kanan. Uska kya hua end me?

Also a lot of characters in the show were replaced midway.

Rajeev, Eijaz, Ashlesha (original Mauli), Mehak (as per wiki, just checked), Kanan was also replaced. I dunno if there were more. Surveen was also replaced eventually. Kashish's dad changed like 3 times🤣

It ultimately sums up to bias 😆. Of course I can readily admit that Angad has his utmost despicable moments throughout the show. He treated her like shit when he accused her of infidelity and said some extremely disgusting stuff. But then he did punish himself and ruined his entire career so that Kripa can become successful. I appreciated that he helped her ruin him.

Now what makes Kripa more unlikeable was that she would commit mistakes over mistakes but NEVER got punished for it. She got away with every stupidity without a single bat of an eyelash. Sending a man to jail for 5 years based on an assumption that a cheating man can also kill is BEYOND ridiculous. Sleeping with Prithvi in Angad’s bed and making him listen over the phone just out of spite (🤢). Sending him BACK to jail where he gets a life sentence then rubbing it in his face with a tear or two () Then there’s hiding the fact that he has a son after they seperate () .... Breaking his heart yet again by fake marrying Hiten () etc etc. But all she had to do was cry saying I love you Angad and all was forgiven.

Both characters were immature. It was all tit for tat - which really sums up the question Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai? However for me personally, Kripa was way more annoying than Angad. Now that can also be due to the character itself being horrid or that Neha’s acting and the voice dub made it worse. Angad may have been more tolerable because Iqbal Khan is a very good actor.

Surveen was not replaced.charu was killed.surveen replaced some other actress as charu before

Among the sister only kanan did not have any individual story.

LMAO Kashish’s dad was originally a shortish elderly man who then transformed into a much taller, much younger version. At the very least Ekta could have kept the appearance of her Professor Sinha consistent 😆

I think Ekta forgot that there was a sister even named Kanan 🤣

I also was a Fan Fiction writer 😆 - stopped one of my stories like 7 years ago when someone plagiarised my work. I loved Geet’s character as she was a bundle of innocence and quirkiness (as you mentioned). Also MSK was the epitome of my dream man coming to life. Give me a moody, broody, angry CEO in a business suit turning into mush for a girl - ANYDAY (☺️)

I also loved the concept of standing against honour killing and despite Maan being an ass to her initially, his insults motivated Geet to become independent. Oh man those were the good days before they turned Maan Singh Khurana into Bicycle Singh Khurana

p.s Geet inspired my change of username since I loved loved MSK’s hands 🤣
