No doubt kashish got annoying after awhile during the Revenge phase and I didn't like the fact she started having feelings for Piyush later on but Sujal was no saint he was nasty to her in the beginning, he **** slam her, compare her to a waste tissue, called her trash. In reality I don't think any girl would go back to such a guy. Those words were hurtful and how Sujal treated Kashish in the beginning was horrible. He suffered and had a good redemption after that.

Kashish was just annoying but she isn't bad like how the FL on itv is written these days. She had spine of steel and didn't allow Sujal to walk all over her.

And don't get me started on Piyush, I never liked that guy.

I didn't like the fact Kashish started to have feelings for him, That's a betrayal of "love" Because Sujal always love only Kashish.

I think Rajeev is doing good work, I loved Haq Se.

Haan. Coz they wanted Sujal to be black not just grey. He even stalked Kashish-Piyush on their honeymoon. But they still couldnt make the audience sympathize with the so-called lead Piyush. They still wanted Sujal despite the fact that he drank like a fish (those hilltop scenes), stalked them, tried to ruin Piyush's business (I think. Not sure abt this). Eventually they gave in to the audience, bumped off Piyush and turned Sujal positive. Building a backstory of how Piyush asked him to marry/take care of Kashish.

Before that they tried everything to make Sujal a hated character.

Its just that his hatred for Kashish overpowered his love for Sujal and he miscalculated or had no idea that Sujal would destroy himself and everyone else in Kashish's love. I think he also funded Rishi's lavish lifestyle. But when Kashish started pointing out Rishi's bad habits, Sujal started reprimanding him. The brother who had never scolded him was now calling him out harshly for his behaviour and that Rishi couldn't take. So he wanted to keep Kashish away from his bro. In his mind he was saving his relationship with Sujal. This is how it began atleast. I didnt follow the show for long to see what else he did.

Completely agree with you on Rishi. I never doubted his love for Sujal.

He couldn't digest Kashish taking Sujal away from him. Furthermore, he also misunderstood Kashish as one of those girls who simply wanted Sujal for his money and status. I do think he realised at one point that Sujal did really love Kashish which is why he told Sujal that the letter was wrongly conveyed to Piyush, and resulted in the misunderstanding. Somewhere that was Rishi's way of undoing what he did because he didn't have the guts to own up to misplacing the letter and loosing Sujal.

THIS. I have to disagree. I don't think they ever set out to make Sujal black or have people hate Sujal. They wanted Sujal to be grey, and his love to be different from the kind that we're used to seeing where love is kind etc.

Everything in KTH, IMO, was about action/reaction. Rishi tried to ruin Kashish/Sujal's relationship because Kashish was isolating Sujal from him. Piyush's mum got Piyush/Kashish married because she saw that as a point to draw a wedge between the 2 families and have her share of the business. Sujal tried to ruin Piyush because he misunderstood that Piyush tried to ruin him and separate him from Kashish. Kashish slept with Piyush and 'moved on' with Piyush because she wanted to teach Sujal a lesson.

RE: bumping off Piyush. I do think that would have happened eventually, because it was always about Sujal/Kashish from the start. Even Kashish/Piyush's relationship was built on the basis of Sujal's ruin/teaching him a lesson. Nothing about their relationship was private because both of them made it a point to constantly have Sujal aware of their progress, be it whether they have not consummated to their consummation to the pregnancy.

Piyush asking Sujal to take care of Kashish was stupid writing, and an attempt to make Piyush white which he never was, and also justify Sujal stepping up for Kashish. To be honest, that was bad writing because its not like Sujal ever needed permission from Piyush. He would have stepped up for Kashish anyway.

All m saying is Sujal was supposed to be the negative lead. So Sujal's actions/reactions were written keeping in mind that he is a negative character. Ekta does not know what 'grey' is, so I will totally disagree with you here. Her characters are either too good to be true or too horrible. And they did set off to make him look bad. Some of Sujal's scenes were horrible. In real life no one would go back to him. EVER. So yes, it was intended to evoke disgust among people. Sujal turning up at Kashish's honeymoon reminded me of SRK's Darr. Ugh. That's how the scenes were shot.

The actor playing Piyush even gave an interview long ago indicating that two sudden changes in storylines changed the course of his career. He mentioned that he had been signed as the lead for KTH but they changed the storyline n his character was bumped off. It was not supposed to happen, him and Kashish were to be the end game. That actor's character in Kyunki was also bumped off. He seemed rather upset about it.

Sujal was to be evil so that he would fade out of the show like all Ekta villains do. Ekta's villains were always pure evil, she never made them humane. Ekta's villains never have dimensions to them, they r just there🤪. Especially back in the day.

Let me see if I can dig up that actor's interview. I dont even know his name.

I HATED HER. Jst wanted to slap her all the time. She hated Sujal so much😡.

She and CG were the same. Piyush's dad was very nice though.

Yeah I disliked Vasu too. But gotta admit that she had a charm, probably because of the actress. Vasu & Rishi were an entertaining team😆

We'll have to agree to disagree on Sujal, though I completely agree with you that what Sujal did at Piyush/Kashish's honeymoon was disgusting. Not justifying his behaviour, but I found the way Sujal behaved was very unfiltered (for the lack of a better word). He always did what he wanted and never gave two shits of what the world said or thought to be right. He never quite fit in that way. And i think that is what connected with people despite his 'villany'.
