It was late ,almost mid night ,all had their dinner and went to bed ,calling it night . Ishita was in ruhi's room ,she had already made ruhi sleep, after reading some bed time story for her . Now she was sitting in her laptop ,revising the presentation for tomorrow's meeting . Actually she has done it many times , the main thing was she was waiting for Raman . Earlier in evening Mr Bhalla had returned, all exhausted from lawyers office. He told that they had talked and discussed a lot but he is not coming with any new and concrete idea as if he had already given up . Mr bhalla also informed that they met some more lawyers but everybody says that there is no point in fighting the custody battle as shagun will surely get it because ruhi is small and shagun is her mother ,and also in a committed relationship unlike Raman .
Toshiji started crying listening to him ,even Mr bhalla too couldn't hold himself and got teary ,it was Romi who calmed both of them, ishita wanted to console toshiji but she was with ruhi.Toshiji then asked about Raman for which he said that Raman was very much disturbed and had went to talk to some more lawyers ,he will return soon . Though Mr bhalla has told that he will return soon but Raman was not back yet . They waited for him till late ,but as both senior bhallas had to take their medicine , Romi insisted them to have dinner and rest after having their medicines.Now everyone is in their room but like ishita non were sleeping . Senior bhallas were sobbing while ,Ishita was waiting for Raman to return . It was 12.30 when she heard the sound of door opening, she thought to go and check but then thought to let it be thinking it will look awkward .She start doing her work when she listened some commotion and then sounds of crying . She tried to ignore it thinking that she shouldn't interfare in their matter but when she listened angry voice of Mr bhalla ,she couldn't hold herself ,she got up and peeped. Ishita saw Raman sitting on couch downcasting his eyes while Mr bhalla was shouting " Toshiji zara si bhi chinta nahi hai ise , samjhaao isko ke iske isi behaviour ke kaaran,hamari bachchi hamse chin sakti hai . They already had proof that he is not a caring father and oopar se he has been drinking ,if they got to know this ,they will surely use this against him ."
Ishita was surprised to know that Raman has been drinking ,she made a dirty face and thought of him to be a drunkard when she listened his sobs followed by his slow voice " I m feeling so helpless ,i don't know what to do , I m such a useless father . Ma ,papa main haar gaya ,not a single lawyer is there who can say that he will help me to get my daughter. Ma main kya karoon , I can't live without my ruhi , I will die ,ma kuch karo na please, papa bolo na main kya karoon ki ruhi hamare paas rahe.
Toshiji held his face and asked " tune kuch khaaya puttar ."
Raman cried more and said " do you think ,I can eat when I m in verge of loosing my daughter.
Saying so he hugged his mother and cried like a baby ,Ishita witnessed all this and felt bad listening to him,while he continued to cry on his helplessness .Soon he started to loose his senses ,so Romi held him and took him to his room , soon whole house again became silent as all went back to their room . Ishita too went to bed as her work was already completed , but she couldn't sleep as her mind was totally occupied with the happenings.
Next morning ishita wake up with the knock on the door ,she got up and opened the door.She found toshiji standing there, she has come to wake ruhi to get her ready for school . Ishita told ruhi that she will woke ruhi and will make her ready ,toshiji thanked her and went out ,telling her to come and have morning tea after waking ruhi . Ishita nodded and went to woke ruhi ,she got up and went to bathroom to complete her morning chores while ishita went oyt to have the morning tea . She went to hall and fiund everyone having thrir tea in silent . Raman too was there along with his parents but non were talking ,the tension was quite visible in their faces. Ishita greeted everyone good morning , they answered her but she missed the warmth she noticed yesterday . Toshiji gave her tea and then sat to have hers. Ishita looked at Raman who was looking too wasted and tired , she wanted to talk to him about the meeting and also about ruhi's custody but she hold herself seeing his state . Soon ishita completed her tea and went to make ruhi ready. Though ruhi don't wanted to go to school as she wanted to spend her day with Raman but had to go when he said ,he won't be home for the day as he had some important work .
After ruhi left for school ,ishita went to toshiji and asked " aunty ji did you people find any solution ."
T- not yet puttar ,don't know what going to happen ,only few days are left for the hearing.
I- l was wondering why you people are so stressed ,I had listened that the custody cases mostly depends on the kid ,I m sure ruhi is too happy with you people and she will choose you all only .
T- na puttar aisi koi baat nahi hai ,ruhi to bachchi hai ,she also craves for mother love and from some days that shagun is showering her fake love on my poor kid , she is confused, she wants us as well as her mother .
I- that means they are cheating .
T- haan cheating hi kar rahein honge , because I m sure that witch will never change .
I- then can't we also do some cheating ?
T- cheating? What do you mean ?
I- if she is comfusing ruhi by playing ,why don't you people confuse them by presenting a fake wife for Raman sir .
At first Toshiji told ishita that its impossible but when ishita convinced her that this can happen toshiji got bit hopeful and went to talk to Mr bhalla and Raman about same. She excitedly told this to the men they looked at eachother then Raman said " Ma this is real life not a movie , fake wife ,from where we are going to bring a pretended wife ,moreover how we are going to make everyone believe that she is my wife and most importantly what about ruhi ,how we are going to introduce her to ruhi . Ma aise hi gamara dimmag bahut disturb hai ,aap please ye sab faaltu idea mat do ."
Toshiji looked at ishita and she said " faaltu isme kya faaltu hai, hadn't you listen everything is fair in love and war ,and this is war Raman Sir ."
Raman looked ishita confusingly then to his mother ,toshiji said " she knows everything ,I had told her . Her parenrs are our friends and they know everything, we usually share our happiness and griefs ,so subsequently she would had known thats why I told when she asked ."
R- achcha kiya bata ,now see what brilliant idea ,she is giving .
Ishita smiled sarcastically then spoke almost mockinh him "its not brilliant but only idea you have ."
Raman looked at his parents, Mr bhalla nodded and said " puttar she is right , everybody is saying same ."
R- papa ,aap bhi . Just think seriously for once and you will realise may be its the only idea but its the stupidest idea . Think for once from where we will get a woman who will agree for this.
I- koi bhi friend or relative or may be any small actress.
Raman ruffled his hair in frustation and said " shut up ishita ,enough of your useless idea ."
T- but she is right Raman .
R- ma we are talking about shagun ,she was my wife for about two years ,she knows almost every relative and friends of mine aur actress we don't know anyone like that ,to sochna bhi mat . Its real life not any dram or movie .
Toshiji got sad again and looked at ishita, her eyes which has sparked few minutes back with hope were now dark again . She didn't said anything further and went silently to yer room,bowing her head down. Toshiji looked at her retreating figure and spoke " Raman you shouted on her unnecessarily, bechari she was trying to help us ."
R- really ma .
T- actually I m thinking something .
Mr bhalla - kya toshiji .
T- can ishita be your pretended wife ,she is Raman's PA ,ruhi bhi use pasand karti hai and she will...
Raman didn't let her complete and spoke " not again ma . Aapne ishita ko dekha hai , her dress up ,her look aur aapne shagun ko bhi dekha hai. Ma I had chosen shagun and she knows my choice ,ishita ko dekh kar wo turant pahchaan jaayegi that wo meri pasand naho ho sakti .Ishita is a lovely girl but she can't be my choice ever got that . Now stop talking over this topic and let me think something helpfull.
Ishita who has gone to ruhi's room but was listening to them sneakily felt bad listening to him . She don't like him but listening his opinion about her, hurt her and unknowingly her eyes got moist . Now She was not interested to listen them anymore so she went inside the room .
