You know when Neil gets Jealous here and confronts Mini .I so wanted this scene in show. Specially when Mini's bf comes from Australia and Neil confronts here for being friendly and bf having feelings for her 😆 Neil's insecurities and Mini's straight forward nature and their fight, confrontation and tension would have been 🔥🔥what a scene that would have been. SouNoor would have nailed it but it's fine now 😆you gave it here and we imagined it

Part 22

Mini received a message from Mrs. Shah in which she invited her to the orphanage where she and her NGO was distributing toys and clothes to the children. Mini excitedly accepted her offer. Mini was very happy and eager to meet Mrs. Shah. Mini had thought that she just gave her number on Mini’s request and she wont be interested in interacting with her but today when she herself invited her Mini was hopeful that she wont mind if Mini keep in touch with her in future also. Mini went there on time. She saw Mrs. Shah already distributing toys clothes to the children Mini joined them. After that they spent some time playing with children and had lunch with them. “I thought you must have forgot about me.” Said Mini. “How can I forget you. You are too lovely and kind to forget.” Mrs. Shah replied as she put her hand on Mini’s head. “I don’t know why but I feel there is some connection between us.” Said Mini. Mrs. Shah looked at her with shock momentarily wondering if she guessed about their actual relation but then Mini spoke again, “I mean you look very familiar to me..As if I have seen you somewhere and I don’t why but I feel a strong pull towards you.” “I think its because of our same thinking process.” Mrs. Shah said to stop her from thinking too much. “So you like children very much? Your own children must be proud of you.” Said Mini. Mrs. Shah become stiff at the mention of children. Mini looked at her and she knew that she touched a raw nerve. “I am sorry if I said something wrong.” Mini apologized. “No, no its ok…. I don’t have children. I had one son but I lost him.” Replied Mrs.Shah as she tried to hide her tears. Mini kept her hands on Mrs. Shah’s hands consoling her.

“You tell me something about your family.” Asked Mrs. Shah. “I have a small family. Just mom and dad in Patiala and here just me and my husband.” Replied Mini. “Ya, Tell me about your husband. How is he?” asked Mrs. Shah unable to stop herself. Mini looked at her with surprise as Mini couldn’t understand why she was suddenly interested in knowing about Neil. Mrs. Shah tried to control her emotions, “Actually…you said that day na that you agree word to word with my speech how married women face different challenges in their life and career…so…tell me about your husband and your marriage? Mrs. Shah clarified. “He is so interfering sometimes, so imposing….kind of a bully you know but…” said Mini but Mrs. Shah stopped her in between, “Are you not happy in this marriage?” she asked in worried tone. “No, I am very happy….I love him so much but…” Mini clarified. “But what?” asked Mrs. Shah impatiently. Mini again was shocked to see impatience in her eyes. “Why she is so interested in listening about my marriage?” Mini wondered. She didn’t understand why but Mini also wanted to share things with her. She was practically a stranger to Mini but Mini felt that her intentions were not wrong. “Neil is a difficult person. He is strange in his thinking process and avoids getting emotionally attach to people. He has a painful past and it affected him in a strong way. All these things have affected his relationships in past and sometimes I fear that all these things will have effect on our marriage also. So whatever he says or wishes…no matter how much I protest or differ but at last I always end up doing that only for his sake. Its ok…but sometimes I feel as if I am losing my identity with him.” Explained Mini.

Mrs.Shah kept quiet for sometime as she realized that her relationship with her son has left deep impact on his life which is till now affecting his relationships. Mrs. Shah wondered whether she did right by hiding everything from Neil? She looked at Mini. She is a lovely girl and the most important thing is she has accepted Neil with all his flaws. She hoped that Neil will not end up hurting this girl. “Don’t worry, it happens with everyone in the initial stages of marriage. Give each other time and trust you love. Every thing will be alright.” Mrs. Shah gave assurance to Mini. Mini smiled at her. Anyone would have said the same thing if Mini had shared her worries with them but she didn’t know why she got hope from her words as if she knew Neil personally. After that meeting with Mrs. Shah Mini started interacting with her over messages and phone and they also met once in a week in that orphanage for charity.

Mini was in her college with her friends. They were gossiping about recent affairs and breakups between the fellow students while enjoying free time in canteen. “Mini yaar, tera set hai sab kuch. Tujhe mehnat karne ki jarurat hi nahi hai tere parents ne tere liye pehle hi hot banda dhund kar teri shadi karwa di.”Said Sonal. “Arre yaar kya batau…kitna mann tha mera ki college life khul ke enjoy karu…main bhi na ek do hook up break up karu…carefree wala romance karu but mere mom dad ne kundli ke chakkar mein na child marriage karwa di meri. Kya kar sakti thi main phas gayi is shadi mein.” Replied Mini making sad face. Bobby who was sitting just behind girls gang on the other table heard Mini’s words and smiled then left from there as one of his friend called him. “Mini what are you saying? Are you not happy with your husband?” asked Sonal perplexed. “Just joking yaar. Relax.” Replied Mini as she started laughing uncontrollably looking at all her friends expressions.

Soon Mini’s class started and the management announced the college trip for photography students. They were supposed to go to Manali for adventure trip and learn the details of photography while shooting on nature theme. Mini was so excited to hear this but as soon as it was announced that it’s a week long trip Mini became sad thinking she would have to stay away from Neil for whole week and she doubted Neil would agree for this. Her friend Sonal asked looking at her sad expression, “What happened? Are you not excited for the trip?” “I am but…it’s a week long trip. Neil wont agree to let me go….”Mini trailed off. Again Bobby who was sitting behind her heard only half thing and was distracted when he received a call. Mini continued, “….to be honest, I also don’t want to leave him for this long.” “Oh, don’t be so over dramatic and lovesick. Come on leave him alone for sometime I know he is handsome but nobody would snatch him away from you in one week.” Replied Sonal. Mini laughed with her as she thought that she is indeed acting like lovesick girl.

Mini came back home. She decided to talk to Neil today itself. She will miss him but then it was important for her career. She went to chat with Naeem bi about it when she heard some commotion outside the house. She and Naeem bi looked outside the window and they were shocked to see that there were some 50 men outside their house and they were holding banners and posters and were protesting against Neil and Oberoi enterprises. “Stop selling our country to foreigners.” “Give opportunity to jobless youth of our your own nation.” Were their slogans. Few of them were trying to open the gate also. Both Mini and Naeem bi were afraid. Naeem bi ran inside to call Neil but his phone was busy. Mini was standing rooted to her place when one man saw her he hurled a stone towards her and Mini got hurt on the head. Mini screamed and Naeem bi rushed towards her. Naeem bi’s phone rang and she saw it was Neil’s call. “Hello Neil,there are so many people outside our house and they are shouting and trying to open the gate they even threw stone in the house. What is happening? Please do something.” Said Naeem bi frantically. “What they are protesting outside our home also. Naeem bi close all the gates. I am coming there and also informing police about it. Please stay inside till then.” Replied Neil. Naeem bi made Mini sit on the sofa and brought first aid box. Meanwhile the protesters threw some more stones in the house. Naeem bi and Mini were scared by this. After some 10 minutes they heard the police siren. Naeem bi went to look outside from the window. She saw police arrested some people while other ran away. After some time Neil also came home.

Neil rushed inside and saw Mini was sitting on sofa. She had a small bandage on her forehead. Neil came to sit beside her, “How did this happen? Did they hurt you?” asked Neil as he seethed in anger. “Some of them threw stones inside the house. But its ok its not deep. Its just a small wound.” Replied Naeem bi. “No, its not ok. No one dares to hurt my wife.” Neil shouted at the top of his voice. He took out his phone and dialed a number, “Mr. Oberoi, we are sorry for what happened and we promise it will not happen again but you cant talk to neta ji now he is busy in party meeting. ”Said ruling party president’s P.A. over phone. “I don’t care. Give him the phone this instance or will come there and behave exactly in the same manner your goons have behaved at my office and house.” Neil said threateningly. P.A. immediately gave phone to the party president. “Mr. Oberoi….sorry ji..galti ho gayi….aaj jo kuch bhi hua aapke office aur ghar par…wo kya hai youth wing ke ladke the hamare…..ab chunaav aane wala hai toh…koi na koi issue bhi toh chahiye….toh bas zara josh mein aa gaye…..par unhe samjha diya hai…aage se aisa nahi hoga….akhir aap toh hamari party ke hi shubh chintak hain.” Party president tried to give explanation to cover up his men’s mistake. “I don’t care netaji….My wife is hurt because of your circus….if any such thing happened again then I’ll swear….is election mein aap aur aapki party….paise paise ke liye taras jayegi…I’ll make sure ki koi bhi industrialist aapko ek bhi paisa na de…phir lad lena election aise hi tamasho ke dam pe.” Neil warned him again. “Arre Mr. Oberoi calm down…I said I am sorry….youth wing ke bacche the…ho gayi galti…unhone kisi se puchha nahi tha ye protest plan karne se pehle….aage se nahi hoga aisa…I assure you.” Said Party president. “I have found out there was someone called Babu responsible for leading them. I want him behind the bars. ”Neil demanded. “Ok…ok. It will be done.” Replied party president.

“Neil what is all this happening?” asked Naeem bi as Neil cut the call. “Naeem bi we are signing a deal with a USA based company. Now as election time is coming close in netao ko headlines mein bane rehne ke liye koi mudda chahiye tha…toh bina soche samjhe..bina poori baat jane bas is deal ke against protest launch kar diya…aur ye bol kar hamari reputation kharab kar rahe hain ki we are giving out jobs to other countries….without even thinking that har bar election ke time party fund ke naam par bheek mangne aate hai mere aur dusre industrialist ke office mein and I also landed my support to them both financially and socially.” Explained Neil. “How dirty politics have become?” said Naeem bi to no one in particular. “Don’t worry, It wont happen again. I talked to them and they have assured me and I have also talked to the police commissioner for security. They will be sending some police men in the evening for some days.This deal will be finalized in a month’s time and I don’t want to take any chances so till then I have arranged for private security as well.” Said Neil as he once again went near Mini. “You are alright kitten? I hope its not hurting much.” Said Neil as he looked at her bandage. “I am fine Neil. Was just little scared seeing all that.” Mini replied honestly. “Don’t worry. I wont let anything happen to you.” Said Neil as he hugged her.

After having their dinner Neil was walking in the garden. Mini brought coffee for both of them. She saw him he was still on his phone. Mini sighed, ever since that incident he is continuously on phone shouting on someone or requesting for quick action against the main culprit. This whole incident has made him worried. “More than me he is scared from all that scene. Scared for me….if this is not love than what else is?” wondered Mini as she remembered the look in his eyes when he saw her bandage. Mini came closer to him and noticed he was smoking. She stood in front of him blocking his way and gestured him to cut the call. When he cut the call Mini snatched his phone. “What are you doing?” Neil asked. “Stop it now. You have done all what was in your power now let others do their work.” replied Mini as she switched off his phone. Mini also took cigarette from his hand. “You know I don’t like it.” said Mini. “I wont smoke another but please let me finish this one. I am tensed.” Neil requested. “That’s why I brought coffee for you. It will help you relax.” Mini replied as she threw away the cigarette and handed him the coffee mug. “Neil, I wanted to tell you something. Our college has planned a week long trip to Manali. It’s a college picnic plus educational tour. They will teach us about nature photography. We will leave next week for it.” said Mini. “What? A week long trip to Manali. Are you out of your mind?” asked Neil as he almost coughed while having his coffee.

“Neil I know its too many days and you will miss me but…..” Mini tried to say but Neil interrupted her. “I am not saying because I will miss you I am saying for safety reasons. After what happened today I cannot take any risk. Sending you far away from my reach….for a week…no…thats not happening.” “But, Neil its important for me and you yourself said right that nothing of this sort will happen again…the politicians and police all have assured you.” Mini tried to persuade him. “I don’t trust them. Till this deal gets finalized you are not going anywhere.You can go after that if you are so interested.” Replied Neil. “Neil you only told me deal will take a month’s time and this is college trip not some personal trip plan with friends so that I can change it as per my convenience.They have scheduled it for next week. If I don’t go they will go without me. ”Mini reasoned. “Then let them go. You are not going anywhere.” Neil said with finality. “But…” Mini tried to argue again but Neil didn’t let her, “Its final. No more discussion on it.” Neil said sternly. “And talk to your parents. They saw the protests in the news they were worried. They called me. I have assured them but you also call them.” Said Neil as he finished his coffee and went to complete his work. while Mini sat there thinking on ideas how to persuade him to let her go.

Next day Mini was about to leave for college when Neil stopped her. “I have called personal security for the house and you.” Said Neil as he called one man in. Mini looked at the man from top to bottom. He was tall and muscular like a wrestler. His complexion was dark and he looked like a mighty villain from south Indian movies. He was wearing grey color uniform of his security agency and goggles. He had a gun in one of his pants pocket. He was standing with both of his hands behind his back. “Mini, meet Rony. He will be with you from now on. Rony, meet my wife Mini.” Neil made the introductions. “Hello ma’am” Rony greeted Mini in almost robotic kind of voice. “Hello” Mini replied awkwardly and came near to Neil as she whispered in his ear, “Who is he? And why he will be with me?” “He is for your protection. He will follow you wherever you go.” Replied Neil. “I am not some celebrity who will needs a bodyguard. Besides that he will not be allowed in my college.” Mini tried to argue back totally uncomfortable with the idea of someone following her everywhere. “After yesterday’s incident I am not going to take any chance and I have already talked to your principal and they don’t have any objection to it. “Neil, please…I don’t need him….my friends will make fun of me.” Mini pleaded while making puppy face. “If they will come to know about yesterday’s event they will understand. And to be honest I don’t care what anybody thinks. For me your safety is of foremost importance.” Replied Neil. “What about you? You need him more than me. After all those goons were present at your office also. ”Mini tried to make excuses. “I have also appointed one for myself. Don’t worry about that.” Said Neil. “But…..” Mini opened her mouth again. “No ifs and buts. Now go, you are getting late.” Said Neil as he kissed her goodbye. Having no other option Mini went to college. On her way outside the home she noticed there were atleast 20 more men in same uniform as an additional security for the house. “Neil has gone mad” Mini concluded.

In the college everyone gave weird look to Mini as her bodyguard followed her everywhere while her friends laughed at her uncontrollably when they came to know about it. But then Mini told her reason behind it and they all understood. Just then Bobby came there and greeted everyone. “Mini did you tell Neil about this trip? What did he say?” asked Shruti. “He said no yaar.” Answered Mini sadly. “Mini how you got hurt?” asked Bobby. “Leave it yaar Bobby…I don’t want to remember it.” replied Mini as she become sad thinking that all her friends will have so much fun in Manali. She remembered last night how Neil said no to her and she couldn’t help but feel annoyed by his over reaction to every situation. While Bobby noticed Mini's sad face and her avoiding the topic of how she got hurt and he made 2+2= 5 in his own head from it. “Mini, ye banda kaun hai aur ye tujhe follow kyu kar raha hai har jagah?” asked Bobby referring to Rony. Mini who was already frustrated with everything replied in anger, “Neil ka jasoos hai mera peechha kar raha hai. Now if you got all your answers Bobby can I leave now?” asked Mini as she folded her hands in front of him in request and went to attend the class. But by now Bobby was convinced that Neil was abusive, dominating and suspicious husband. Mini’s parents must have married her off without her consent and now Mini is trapped in this marriage.
