Yeah.. IT companies will be saving a lot on infrastructure costs by moving to a remote working culture.. profit is their baseline at the end of the day. Have been hearing that it will be convenient for mothers as they wouldn't need to stall their careers if they can continue their work while also be able to keep an eye on the kids.
Although there are challenges with this model, especially online connectivity, some colleagues are struggling with the shitty internet from their residences while some are facing power cuts already due to early rains. I kinda miss the break-time flirting with the guys, it was a good respite from looking at the damn screen all day 😆
