2020 is turning out to be such a tragic year.. First Kobe bryant, Irrfan Khan and now Rishi Kapoor

But there's something that's going in my head and idw to post it on social media so let me say it here. Don't you guys find it weird and odd that when someone so close dies in the family the family members are busy making IG posts? L9le e.g riddhima, karishma uhhh idk but something about it really makes me go give a break to social media just for one day you just lost someone. Idk maybe it has to do with the way I am raised and the way I have seen deaths in the family but it is just too much for me to see that one hour they can't give a break and being out there. How about spending the time with the ones who need you instead of making posts? Trust me am not trying to be judgy but it Is something that bothers me. Like even when we are so apart separated by oceans if something like this happens even now personally I don't feel like doing anything or coming to internet. Am I too old school?

Like it's funny to me that the same people (generally speaking) will be like oh we need our privacy but then will be making SM posts and be all over the place liking every single post replying to every single post bhai yeh kaisi privacy hai? ( once again not just talking about Kapoor family here)

I get what you mean...but I guess society has now conditioned people into wanting to use social media as an outlet. Different people process grief in different ways. Some people internalize their grief, some feel the need to express it, put their thoughts out into the world about it.

And for celebrities, they anyways have a different set of things going on. They are all so used to putting out public statements about everything, they end up using social media in these situations to do the same.

Waise bhi who knows what goes on in internal family drama. Chaahe public figures ka ho or regular families. There are always some people who put on a show of grief because it is expected of them rather than actually expressing their thoughts and emotions.

Watched it and am so overwhelmed, so much going on in my head. It's Hardhitting But Gentle in it's approach. WOW. Amrita's anguish is so tangible.This is an EYEOPENER and so bloody GOOD.

HANDS DOWN MY FAV FILM OF THE YEAR . it sparks so much emotion so relatable on so many fronts. i love that it is so subtle in showing sexism /abuse/the 3rd class treatments women go through every min of their lives but don't object caz they've been conditioned it's ok. WOW.there's so much to talk here. i don't want to spoil but every female who's in the film has their own story no one is thrown in for the sake of it and is equally important. And with this Anubhav sinha have Fully redeemed himself from the God awful films he used to make earlier *cough Ra.1*
