Tbh , I got it long back that the children Kunti have through a special power I would say . Because they actually had a intercourse internally which is again awkward that is why Ambika and Ambalika have such expression.

Kaliprasanna explicitly mentions ke not immediate but a normal pregnancy.

The Kaliprasanna Simha's version of MB (it's in Bengali and written before KMG). I was referring to the fact ke KMG's has immediately added here.

This is another instance where this is confirmed. 😳

And even like his father, the child was equipped in a coat of mail, and decked with brilliant ear-rings. And he was possessed of leonine eyes and shoulders like those of a bull.
