Irrfan was never underrated as an actor. Never. In Bollywood, a star is considered lesser than an actor and Akshay and Salman have often vocally expressed they wished they were known as actors than stars. Irrfan knew his worth and he knew the people knew his worth. He was never short of scripts and never short of good work be it in Bollywood or Hollywood or exceptional regional cinema. Never. That is all that mattered to him. He was spiritually on a much much higher plane to even bother about media nonsense. Interview after interview over the years showed how detached a person he was from materialistic benchmarks. He knew he was loved. That’s all I said. Who cares about media? He surely didn’t care for it beyond promotions when alive and surely doesn’t now. Heh.
Errr u r talking about irfan and his pov ..i m talking about how the general public perceives things when someone uses tags like star , actor , underrated , overrated etc ..
If people say he was not enough appreciated or he was underrated ,its bec how the media makes it look like ..based on that people react..
Akshay ho ya salman , they r hypocrats in my pov ..they all r stardom obsessed ..but haan mahaan banne ke liye dialogue maar dete hai ki wish i was good actor ..i m myself a fan of aamir but i know he is hypocrat too in such matters ..they all thrive fr 100 200 300 crores ..But again who r we to judge ..
