Reliance CEO expects movie releases to be back to normal by September

This is from a new Jha article about the possibility of movies just releasing on a digital platform

Confirming there won't be any digital release of Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi and Kabir Khan's '83, Reliance Entertainment's CEO Shibasish Sarkar says, "We are expecting theatres to be functional in the next 3 to 6 months ....say, by Sept. We will hold our release till normalcy comes back for a theatrical experience of these films."

I don’t know about. Some countries are expecting a second wave of the virus in the fall

They can put Sooryavanchi and 83 on hold. But other smaller movies should just release online or on TV - don’t they make money from TV releases?

These guys need to smell the coffee. Or maybe they want the share price to rise slightly so they can sell off their ESOPs. Is saal log sir pe kafan bandh kar hi jaayenge cinema gharon mein. I am not stepping into a theatre till at least 2021, that too not sure.
