Kangana Ranaut’s sister caught the wrong nerve and people have been irked with her Tweets. Many called out Rangoli before her account was suspended by Twitter on Thursday, and Jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali was one of them.

Farah called out Rangoli for her derogatory and hateful comments about a particular community. In an interaction with The Times of India, she revealed the real reason for reporting Rangoli’s account and said ‘she is entitled to her views’ but attacking people is not right.

Farah has tweeted against Kangana Ranaut’s sister for making hateful comments about a particular community.

After I reported it, she got blocked. She is entitled to her views but she keeps attacking people saying horrible things. But that doesn’t make everything she says true. I only reported her (Rangoli’s) tweet, and I know she spreads venom all the time against Muslims, I don’t know why.

Rangoli was suspended by the social media platform following an incendiary post targeting a community. The screenshot of the tweet has gone viral. Farah responded to the suspension by tweeting: “Thank you @Twitter @TwitterIndia @jack for suspending this account. I reported this because she targeted a specific community and called for them to be shot along with liberal media and compared herself to the Nazis.”

“There are equal number of both good & bad ppl from ALL religions. To condemn all over the actions of some or wish them ALL dead is EVIL & VILE. No one should be killed in the name of religion. And those that call out for that killing should be taken to task whoever it may be,” Farah wrote in a tweet.

Further, Farah talked about her encounters with Kangana’s sister and even mentioned that ‘she was very sweet and nice at that time.’

I don’t know her personally at all, I have only met her a couple of times with Kangana, many years ago. She was very sweet and nice at that time, I don’t know what happened to her.

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta who has been close to Kangana took to his Twitter handle and spoke up about Rangoli. He also revealed being in good terms with her and he is a bit surprised by the tone of some of her tweets.

“I will be honest here. Rangoli has been a good friend in the past and I was frankly a bit surprised by the tone of some of her tweets. And I am not rejoicing with her suspension. I am in fact disappointed and sad that she had espoused such violence and divisive hate on her TL,” he wrote in a tweet.

Meanwhile, Rangoli says she is not bothered by her account getting suspended. “I am not reviving my account, I was my sister’s spokesperson now watch out for her direct interviews, she is a huge star she has many ways of reaching out, a biased platform can be easily avoided,” she said.

See, a group of us have kept on reiterating that she is a vile opportunistic cutthroat career woman who can use anything and anybody to further her cause...We said it then when the people were rallying behind her blindly grasping on to her half baked stories and lies- and we are saying it now, when people are supporting her venomous attacks on an entire community...Both the times the pattern is the same only the issues that she picked upon are different...She just uses different things and people to further her own career and she is cutthroat about it, in the sense she can just go to any extent to gather the attention and support...So when some of the folks started pointing fingers at the current set of supporters, some of us who have always seen through her, just reminding them that they have been there at one point where she fooled them and asking them to stop being holier than thou...That is all!

Yes, neither of them had any base. That's how it started. It was only a he said, she said battle in the beginning.

I am not giving more weightage or what she said or he said. It is my personal opinion that neither of them sound convincing so I choose to not support either of them.

Another important point is that she spoke against the administration failure of Thackeray for the bandra ruckus .

If you see many of the tweets who called her out for suspension have tagged uddhav thackerays Twitter handle .

That could be one if the reasons too.
