This is very good news that show is resuming on April 22.

The news is great but the lockdown is till May 3rd all over India. So trusting this news seems difficult. Anyway thanks for sharing it.

They could but it seems unlikely. Think they'd save up some pre-banked episodes till they catch up with their shooting. And that is when the lockdown gets lifted.

Isn't there a lockdown until May 3rd? Also I don't think it would be a good idea to resume shooting any time soon because I wouldn't want any of the cast or crew to fall sick. Also most of the cast & crew of EKDV2 went back to their hometown so when they come back to Bhopal via public transport, they could be putting people of Bhopal at risk also. We have a family friend in Bhopal and she said cases are increasing there too.

There is. Heard the government is planning on partially opening some businesses starting April 20. Don't know if the entertainment industry falls under that category. But like you said it'll be risky nevertheless. Plus managing a massive film crew in itself is no joke; nevermind the risk of infections.

@Bold I thought it was only essential businesses...entertainment industry surely doesn't fall under essential lol people need to stop thinking about money and focus on the greater good for all.

Yes. The essential ones are already running. Think they're intending to open small scale businesses/shops in non-affected/less affected areas for those who have hand-to-mouth existence.
