Yeah. I think Usman was more interested in the parallel/indie cinema scene and is more an "artist", if that makes sense? And there's scope for that in larger industries, but the Pakistani drama/film scene is quite formulaic. There have been a few more 'different' movies being made, but looking at the dramas and films that do well, there still isn't that much of a market. The Pakistani industry is still more about "stars" and "celebrity" than actual "art". (Disclaimer: I don't get all the art either, I'll be honest, but hopefully you get what I mean, lol)
Also, he talks about politics in his career too. He's been quite frank that people were blacklisting him and telling others not to work with him behind his back- so it's nice that he's also overcome that along with resolving his mental health issues.
