Puneet Issar is fabulous as Duryodhana. Duryodhana looks like a jealous and misguided youth. Doesn't appear to be evil yet (My very personal opinion, please don't jump on me.😆)

I totally respect your view but according to my understanding and knowledge, Karna was never Drona's student. He was taught by Parshuram in entirety. Mahabharat is told beautifully and almost every character is placed in a grey zone which makes it a true reflection of life. Karna is one complex and debatable grey character.
Draupadi was indeed a bold lady and I can believe that she could speak so against Karna. If she could laugh on Dhritrashtra's blindness and that too so openly in front of his son (andhe ka putra andha), it means she was a person who didn't hesitate or think twice to speak up her mind.
Many publications tell that he was plainly refused to participate in the Swayamvar on account of his caste, many others tell the contrary. I am absolutely okay with all of them. I am more inclined towards the intricacies of MB. All I want is a complex and more complex MB.😆
Personally I feel very sympathetic towards Karna but I also dislike him to the extreme during the humiliation incident of Draupadi. Conflicting perceptions (that's how I feel for almost every MB character). Welcome to Mahabharat😆
@Bold - That's actually a part of Dharmveer Bharati's Andha Yug and widely popularized by BRC. She didn't call Duryodhan that.
I felt the same. Presently he appears more like a stubborn kid who wants the possession of all toys. 😆Originally posted by: sonnet11

Nitish sir was soo handsome na!
In Krishna Leela Krishna was wayyy more dramatic tho! 😛
He legit jumped off an actual cliff and shifted the entire population of Mathura to Dwarka in a matter of one night. The BRC story is quite lame when compared. 😆

Oh yes :p
That is Krishna Leela :p
^^I need more spice here! Krishna should do crazy things, okay maybe tamer than Vrindavan, but still crazy! 🤪
At least Rukmini Haran mein we can expect some!

I really want to read the Mahabharat now and I sure will. I suppose that the Bhandarkar Oriental edition is the most correct one (as there is no authentic one). Which one would you recommend?

This Krishna seldom uses his powers.

I thought so too. So won't jump on you 😆
He also addressed Yudhisthir as Bhratashree and talked to him somewhat respectfully.
He has yet to go completely evil.
