Definitely. Didn't know about it but I applaud Parth for saying it loud. As far as my earlier comment is concerned, sometimes we have to sugarcoat a little to survive in our workplace. I meant it that way. But terming someone's super FALTU acting as super awesome is way too much. But then again, Shruti seems to be playing safe even before the show came on air. Remember how she saw Monalisa but no one else? So not really bothered about her or her statement.

BTW, now I do understand what you meant by actors taking responsibility of their characters.

Teddy Altman is one of my favorite characters in Grey's Anatomy. The last one or two seasons, there has been some crazy love pentagonal between Link-Amelia-Owen-Teddy-Tom. As I had said, unnecessary dramatization. They have finally excluded the AmeLink portion but we are still stuck with a messy triangle. And out of blue, it was revealed that Teddy is BS and years ago, she was the third wheel between a lesbian couple. The girl she loved, died in 9/11 incident and she joined army and went to war where she met Owen for the first time.

Now definitely you can understand fans' reaction to this. Some even went on to term her serial cheater.

I saw a video of Kim Raver (Teddy) last night where she clarified saying she knew how frustrated fans were and she acknowledged that Teddy has been taking all the wrong decisions but she also said, she could empathize and there was much more to her which the audience will see in next Season. She'll reach a proper place after solving these messes created by her own insecuirity.

I just loved her for the clarity she had. It wasn't the lame excuse that she was doing a great job and people were loving her acting. Because honestly, Kim Raver is amazing. But then again she took accountability for her character and she was telling people to watch it for further revelation rather than playing safe that Teddy and Kim are different and she's a darling in real life.

I really respected her for that.

Sorry! Had to say it. This whole revelation left me confused and I genuinely want Teddy to find some happiness but the fact that she cheated on her friend (Claire) with her girlfriend (Allison) - it was too much. So I had to blast.

Okay... So, for example there are any two particular locations and one location which falls somewhere in between those two...

Mainly residential locations...

Like Rathod House can be in one location and Nishant's house in another... And any one location somewhere in between them.

About modulation, I agree totally. Because sometimes in one single scene you can show much variation. I can specifically point out the scene where Piya met Nishant. First she was stammering and then crying and then the smile she put on - absolutely brilliant!

It's not Nazar but another of my favorite scene of YMMKD where she confessed in front of Mukhi. First there was restlessness and then her vulnerability that she was madly in love with him and ultimately taking control when she realized Mukhi was unable to confess so she had to continuously assure him and help him say it - it was in sync.

So I am definitely not gonna compare between Shruti and Niyati.

She is monotonous. Because there was no depth when she got married and it was under horrible situation. But even if it was one minute, Niyati portrayed the pain and dilemma within that one minute where Piya was getting married to Ansh.

But then again, we have to appreciate someone if he/she improves. Considering the initial episodes, I felt Shruti was much better in the last episode that had aired. So I am definitely gonna point that out.

But yes, as of now, there can be no comparison between Niyati and Shruti.

Exactly that's rare, and all have basic traits, and then there are such people who fake!! Plus as we say, few ppl we may feel correct but can act too, but certain people, you just get vibes and understand the fakeness. This was what I was referrin to earlier, am happy now you are experiencing it too.

Indeed. Yeah, that I agree and that's normal, but that has a way, you know. Being in a Corporate, I know it and have done too. That's my point, like just appreciating anything dumb, just cos you work with them or giving an interview together, makes no sense. Yes, she just plays safe, and has no guts.

She can't give actual credits and appreciation, till she is asked about them.

Thank you for the references, and this is exactly what I was talking about. Like there are going to be times, when your characters are gonna be super messed up, you won't like the arc too, but you still don't ditch it, cos as a whole it's your character. You own the responsibility, cos anything will have pros and cons. It's like a job, it gives you bread and butter, and that too has a tough phase.

I have seen quite a few people taking responsibility of their characters, even if they are messed. Cos you took it up and signed up, and it doesn't change totally except rarely.

Definitely! But we have seen better so we can't appreciate it like we did in case of Niyati. But my philosophy is - if someone is trying and improving, no matter how insignificant that is, we should motivate them. 😊 Plus, fan theory dear. I remember some people in the KD forum were too harsh on Sana at the beginning and were suggesting MMZ actress to be cast opposite Shravan. But then she improved. She did an amazing job and when the show ended, the forum unanimously declared her, Shravan, Uday Ji and Indira Ji to be the foundation of KD.

Honestly, I don't believe Shruti can prove to be that great. Again, fan's bias. 😛 But I genuinely hope she improves and gets the strength to voice out the fact rather than playing it safe. 😊
