But then again, as you said, how the things are executed or the plot has a lot to play. In case of YMMKD, the plot itself emphasized on two people from completely different background can fall in love or not?

Mukhi may be super rich but culturally he wasn't that sophisticated by modern standard. He was quite simple but he was wise, he knew about rules and he had authority. And Aru might be poor but they did hint that it was her father's sudden paralysis that the family hit the ground. She was educated, had a job and wasn't oblivious about the world which sometimes makers go overboard with to portray the FLs as pure hearted. 🤢 🤢 🤢

So there was somewhat resemblance between them too. And they did meet in her office so I wouldn't say complete luck.

About PiyAnsh, I did say that up to a certain limit, education can act as the ground. Nishant was a professor and Divya and he worked side by side. So you can definitely assume that she wasn't an illiterate person. Plus she handed Piya over to Guruma who was quite knowledgeable by herself. So Piya never really was naive or oblivious. Her strength was the first thing that Ansh had noticed when she was giving it back to the other girls. Loving mother - that was the emotional ground. So I guess, I could like them too.

But the question arose in my mind with that particular N2 post. The TM specifically pointed out a mentally challenged ML was what drew his/her attention. So I was like - Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat??? 😲 😲 😲

I had seen the first episode, and few glimpses but thought it ultra dramatic and glorified, so have no clue. Show ended too?? But in short it was like mom of both guys wanted to torture the girl, post marriage and show her family inferiority complex, so I was like...

I am not sure if it has ended or not. They were about to go off air and then lockdown started. So I thought you might know about the ending. 😊 I was bhatkofying in their forum and usually we get the basic idea after reading some threads but even there nothing made sense. 😳 So had to ask. 😆

Yeah! I logged into KHKT forum after many days and saw discussion regarding how Ramayaan is getting 15 TRP on DD. That's great actually.

But even now people are saying how Raima was the reason for downfall and FS wasn't a good choice. I am like - Dude! Give it a break!

Yes, Ramayan got 15 and 20 trp, highest after 2015. It's exceptional! As I said, old shows had content, acting, story. Nowadays highest is 4.5.

Khkt, 🤣honestly their leads, can never be wrong. People have to keep criticising everything except story, leads, content. Plus move on.

I missed your N2 thing, TM said that he was an attraction? Awesome! No offense but acting was also bad, and honestly people literally like anything.

About N2, TM said after many days a show featured a mentally challenged ML and he/she felt intrigued. Plus Shezaan's acting was appreciated. 😲

I was shocked because I didn't really think someone could dig that - the pairing between a mentally challenged person and a normal girl. Reason - we have discussed.

About liking anything, there are certain cliched scenes. Koi bhi actor karein, uss samay ke liye shayad accha bhi lage. Par accha impression ya intrigue factor - woh to alag baat hain, hain na?

About acting, nothing against him but personally I feel Shezaan is the weakest among N2 cast. As Nikki and I were discussing that Shruti was gradually catching up but in the last episode, Shezaan's screaming at top of his lungs ruined the thodi bohut intensity that Shruti could create. 😒

Yes, cliche scenes I agree all like.

But there's nothing to be intriguing on him and then I have seen many doing that role way better. Didn't want to bring up, but then again he was so confident how fab he is doing, and he had done a similar role in a project and I was like, dude?! Like if you did, why are you doing so horrible. Upar se Shruti also was appreciating how much efforts he takes and he is doing a great job.

People stay in bubbles. Then I actually felt lately Gul's MLs have started floating a lot in air, specially. We are great type🤣

I did see his scenes and I agree, he really can't act. I had to change the channel, cos it seemed that fake. He is weakest and has scenes with the strongest, Mona. Shruti is catching up, but don't take me wrong, she has these monotonous expressions and lacks voice modulation depth.

Let's go in depth, now considering topic is on.. and I do go a lot!

So Niyati, when she started and said Guru Maa, tone had that touch of belonging, when she cried for her mother, she modulated the pain, when she showed attitude to Ansh, she had that don't mess with me and when she screamed Ansh before throwing knife, it had the order feel and that he should stop! Then when she stopped him, she potrayed her vulnerable side. Each voice tone or line had a modulation that, if I am doing work without seeing the show, I could guess the mood by the voice!!

Shruti, lacked the depth here, and gives a monotone, be it being sad for her sister, just shouting for Apurv in that girgit track, than concern or being Actually scared, it seemed like she is just calling him casually when we play.

Am hoping you didn't get bored.

TBH, I didn't want to bring it up because you know me, I get carried away easily. 😆 But since the topic is on so let's discuss. I can't point out all of Gul's heroes but personally for some reason, I don't like Shezaan or get the genuine vibe from him.

I mean yes, not every actor is calm or composed but genuinity is something different. All the off screen videos I had watched of Sana and Shravan, I have always felt Shravan was really reserved and he wouldn't give all the details in front of media, which is his choice. But I never felt he was faking it or showing attitude.

The same goes for Kinshuk. The fact that he is calm and family oriented, it doesn't come across fake on tube.

But Shezaan shows off a lot. Be it the IG posts or whatsoever, it reeks fakeness.

As far as Shruti is concerned, obviously she can't go around saying her costar su**s. 😛

About modulation, I agree totally. Because sometimes in one single scene you can show much variation. I can specifically point out the scene where Piya met Nishant. First she was stammering and then crying and then the smile she put on - absolutely brilliant!

It's not Nazar but another of my favorite scene of YMMKD where she confessed in front of Mukhi. First there was restlessness and then her vulnerability that she was madly in love with him and ultimately taking control when she realized Mukhi was unable to confess so she had to continuously assure him and help him say it - it was in sync.

So I am definitely not gonna compare between Shruti and Niyati.

She is monotonous. Because there was no depth when she got married and it was under horrible situation. But even if it was one minute, Niyati portrayed the pain and dilemma within that one minute where Piya was getting married to Ansh.

But then again, we have to appreciate someone if he/she improves. Considering the initial episodes, I felt Shruti was much better in the last episode that had aired. So I am definitely gonna point that out.

But yes, as of now, there can be no comparison between Niyati and Shruti.

I will comment in details later, but about Shruti or other actors, well there's no need to say sucks. But then there's no need to fake too. But then most actors have this thing to show. In that reference,Parth was quite awesome! People cried but he actually told in his Kyy days, that he and Niti don't bond well, like both actually accepted that which is quite normal. Unlike all actors, who are like, oh we have an awesome bonding!!
