i did watch it properly, and she said she wants to learn how to cook, and ranveer is not bragging about anything, he is constantly praising deepika again and again on his insta stories. Deepika is not even asking him to cook, when deepika is fine it then i don't know why shud anyone else have a problem with it, she is enjoying cooking for herself and her husband, Ranveer isn't telling her to do it

for 2 days ranveer has been posting about deepika's cooking, that shows that deepika likes the posts, if she had any objection then ranveer wouldn't be doing it. Plus deepika has only been making food like this for herself and ranveer for the last 2 days, she doesn't do it all the time, most of the time they are both so busy with work in different locations that they don't get to spend time with each other like they are doing during this lockdown

Ranveer may say hes patni vratha but i doubt he will ever cook, sweep, mop or do laundry etc for his wife or parents or anyone in this life

Thats because he was a rich kid and his parents did everything for him till he married

Now his wife will do everything for him simple

Anyways in india majority man do not do house work even if wife works outside. That trend is very less and that too in very big metros or cities only.

We can think of our fathers only did they do house work, rarely if mother is gravely sick

Even todays gen helps very less in kitchen and house work if at all they do is play with kids or help in their homework

Same way with Ranveer i do not think he will do any house hold work ever hes never done it nor will ever do it till its an emergency

Deepika is diff left home at 16 years and lived alone in big metro must have done all house work paying bills going to bank on her own only for a long time till she became famous heroine

After that also if maid goes on leave she must be doing house work

Lets confess girls may come from rich, poor or middle class but are taught and do all house work not after 25-30 but from childhood only and for boys well its very urgent they do or mostly their parents and sisters do in real life. Atleast in india thats how it is and was and shall be (except few 20% men in big cities who may help wife)
