Hi friends back with new update .

Part 37

Raman kissed her forehead again, then went to change . He returned after a while the slid beside her ,she cooed in him and closed her eyes . He smiled at her act and closed his arms ,securing her in them ,then he too closed his eyes ,feeling contended . Soon both were sleeping soundly ,cuddling in each other .

It was still dark when ishita's sleep broke , she opened her eyes and then spoke closing them again " uff its still night."

Saying so she tried to sleep again but couldn't as she was feeling too hungry, she was tossing and turning in the bed, disturbing Raman's sleep . He opened his eyes and asked getting concerned " ishita are you ok . Kuch dard ho raha hai kya ".

I- nahi to .

R- then why are you tossing and turning like a fish, please sleep I have a meeting in morning itself .

I- wahi to ,I m trying to sleep but can't.

R- why ? please tell me if you have any problem.

I- (making a puppy face )- problem to hai , but you sleep ,I will manage .

R- arey tu bol na , waise bhi I can't sleep anymore . Bol kuch chahiye tujhe .

I- actually, I m hungry .

R- ohh ,let me see ,if any food is there .

I- no , i don't want to eat food .

R- (making a scary face )- to kya khana hai tujhe .

I- I want to eat sambhar vada .

R- hain vo kya hota hai ,I had never seen that .I don't know how to make it .waise bhi its sounding so difficult , poori raat beet jaayegi. I will get it prepared tomorrow , abhi tu kuch easy sa bol ,I will make it for you .

Ishita thought for long then said " ok , then prepare something spicy for me."

Raman made a confused face and made his way towards kitchen .He thought for the easiest thing he can make but couldn't think as almost all were punjabi foods which take time and he wanted to make quickly . He finally settled on onion ,potato fritters along with tomato chutney . After deciding he started his job quickly, but tge problem was he was not very familier with kitchen,so he to check all the containers to get required ingredients.

He was still searching gram flour when he heard ishita" kya khoj rahe ho(what are you searching)."

R- arey ish ,why are you here . You rest in room itself ,i will bring it shortly .

I- no I can't stay in room silently when you are making so much noise.Arey Ma ,papaji are also there in this house,you will disturb their sleep too .you tell me what you want to make and what do you want ,I will give everything.

Raman smiled sarcastically and said " sorry I don't need your help madam , I can do it myself ."

Ishita too smiled the same way " sorry to burst your bubbles sir ,I just wanted to give you ingredients so that you will not disturb, rest of the people ,got that .

Raman made a puppy face and spoke " ok , then give me gram flour and eating soda, I had got the rest ."

I- waise can l ask ,what chef Raman bhalla is preparing .

Raman again give her a cheeky smile and said " Nahi ( no)".

Ishita glared him and spoke settling in the chair of dining table set ," then I m not going anywhere ."

R- that will be good ,I will steal few kisses in between .

I- thats not allowed .

R- everything is fair in love and war ,and I love you very much ,so its fair moreover your presence will boost my zeal to make something tasty and yummy for you .

Ishita just smiled and passed the ingredients to him then again settled back in her seat . Raman chopped onion and potato ,then made the batter.He then warm

the oil and started frying the fritters . Soon the fritters along with tomato chutney was ready . Raman passed it to ishita , her eyes twinkled seeing it ,she relished it and made a very satisfied face making Raman smile genuinely. Ishita was eating while Raman was busy in admiring her ,she looked at him in between and raised her eyebrows asking " what" . He just got up a bit ,kissed her temple lovingly and said " I missed you somuch jaan ,I m sorry for everything. "

Ishita kissed on his cheek and spoke " jo ho gaya use bhool jaaiye ,it will only give pain nothing else ."

Raman caressed her cheek and asked " tujhe roz aise hi bhookh lagti thi (were you always feel hungry in night).

Ishita nodded.

R- then what did you do ?

I-mummyji has given me mixtures, cookies, dry fruits , I use to eat those .

R- ohh , now I m there . You can freely tell ne whenever you want to eat something ,i myself will make for you .

I- thankyou .

R- no need for that , I m doing this because I actually want to do ,so don't ever thank me for taking care of you two .

Soon she completed eating, they returned to their room and slept.Days started passing nicely , Raman was taking good care of ishita while she was too happy to get Raman back in life though sometimes she recalls his words and get hurt ,she sometimes wonder that if Raman had really changed or he just want her not the baby . As she cannot do anything ,so she left everything on fate and was eagerly waiting for her baby's arrival .

Now ishita was eight months pregnant and had just stepped in her ninth month. Today ishra has gone for her monthly check up. The checkup was good ,doctor has told that, the baby is growing nicely and both mother and baby are healthy . They also saw the ultrasound and heard the heartbeat . Ishra were too happy on getting the positive news .

R- I had never felt so happy ishita . I can't wait more ,just wanted to hold my little baby in my hands .

I- you still have to wait for one more month.

R-( with a dull face )- yeah I know ,but I m glad you and baby both are good .

They reached out from the hospital while talking ,Raman told ishita to wait in the corner ,till he brings the car . She nodded and stood there, thats when her phone rang . She saw it was toshiji's call . Ishita knows that she must be impatient to know about her check up as she can't come along with them . So ishita picked the call and started talking to toshiji.As there was much sound of traffic ,ishita closed her other ear with her hands so that she can clearly listen toshiji's voice . She was so engrossed in talking that she didn't noticed the speedy car coming towards her .

It was too late when she noticed the car as it has come very close to her ,she froze on spot since her mind stop working witnessing the live death in front of her . She held her baby bump with her both hands to protect the baby , the car was just a few meters away from ishita when Raman showed up in between her and car , he immediately shielded ishita with his body and ran to the side along with her . Ishra fell on the corner and rolled ,ishita was holding her tummy while Raman was holding her . Ishita was almost allright with some bruises while Raman's head got hit with a sharp stone making him loose his senses with lots of blood oozing from the wound .

Soon they were sorrounded with many people, ishita got up noticed Raman saoked in pool of blood and ran to him ,she sat on the ground ,took his head in her lap and started calling him name . She requests the peoples to take him inside the hospital and fainted . She was on the phone when this happened so toshiji too came to know that something bad had happened, she called Me bhalla and bith rushed to hospital ,only to get the news that Raman and ishita both needed to be operated because Raman has severe injury in head ,while the baby's breath has lessened as the cord around its neck has tightened due to the push it got at time of accident.
