HII SAMMM!
I was going KuKu...hehe....geddit? 🤪😆
Oh wow, that ghazal is so....moving. Makes me feel all types of things.
Kuhu- Yes, I agree. Kuhu is usually a very direct person and sometimes, it feels like she is punished for that. It was amazing that she just went to Kunal and confessed her feelings to him. It's definitely refreshing for ITV. As Sam said, I am sure she would have been heartbroken but would have moved on after that. She also makes no bones about her affection for Kunal and that's so attractive, like in the Humma Humma scene or in her eagerness for the SR. She deserves all the love this world has to offer.
Aaah! I see what you did there! 😎
Jagjit Singh, his voice and those lyrics have that effect on me too.
Yes! I love how she takes ownership of her desires AND I love that it's exactly the kind of partner Kunal needs. There's a line in the song "Abhi Abhi" where it says "teri chaahaton se meri chaahatein riha hai," -- it always bothered me that the female voice sings that in the song, but it works perfectly in Kuku's situation with a gender flip. Kuhu's desire sets Kunal's desire free. ☺️
I think she is also the only woman on ITV who has ever sought out alcohol and gotten drunk on purpose, and not to make a huge melodramatic scene either. She just wanted to drown her sorrows and worries for a moment and have some fun! After all the non-consensual spiking that goes on in this show, it's damn refreshing to see someone get drunk purely of their own volition! 🤣 And the way she says "madira" with absolutely no shame when Kunal asks her if she's drunk something is just everything! 😆
This, Champaner and the golden age of Kuku all happens between episodes 60 and 80, btw!

@bold- You can say that again 😆
I like that she is not extra-sanskari because that's the hallmark of any positive female character on ITV. Can you give me the exact episode numbers for the Champaner track? I don't remember them
I have a couple of ideas in mind for drabbles which I will share soon.
I would like a long track of Kuhu being kidnapped btw 😆 I know it's sadistic but I would love to see Red Pear MD Kunal Rajvansh run, drive and swim across different terrains to get Kuhu back. It would also bring back dishoom dishoom Kunal. We could also get swoon-worthy dialogues like, "Kuhu ko haath mat lagana' and the likes hehe
Champaner specifically is 60-67 -- the beginning of that perfect phase
Yes! Kuhu's relatable blend of sanskaar and asanskari behaviour is a major, major part of her appeal. ❤️
BRB going to re-watch Champaner hehe.
These GIFs are so cute. Has anyone watched these interviews?

Pihu, darling, please take care of yourself. I can only imagine how you feel, and I'm really sorry that you have to go through this. I appreciate you opening up to us, that must have taken a lot of courage on your part. ❤️
I feel like even if Kunal was flirting, I would have never been able to pick up on it. I'm that oblivious. And that's the huge difference between me and a character like Kuhu. I don't have even a bit of self-confidence to even pick up on any sort of flirting (I'm constantly thinking "well why would HE like someone like ME?"), whereas Kuhu is not even the least bit hesitant. I really admired her for coming out in the open about how she loved Kunal and how she unabashedly confessed this to him. She has no reservations whatsoever, yet somehow her self-love never comes off as selfishness or narcissism. If only Kunal or Varsha would help her feel more secure about her place in everyone's lives, and hear her out for once without dismissing her. She just needs validation at this point. That's all.
That's why I really liked that therapist short story that you shared, Pihu. Any other person that has gone through what she has would and should seek out therapy. I think the only time I've seen proper references to therapy and how it helps with emotional trauma in ITV is in the show Patiala Babes (when Babita takes Minnie to see a therapist after her divorce with Minnie's father). Kuhu needs someone in her life to listen to her without any prior judgment.
You guys are super cute!! Also, Meera, there is something in the way you write. It's like I can feel your emotions. It just makes your messages all the more lovely.
It was super hard in the beginning but I had decided very early on that I will not let anyone stigmatize mental health issues around me, be it family, friends or anyone else. It's been almost 2 years since I realised I had anxiety and a year since I started developing symptoms of depression. I wasn't able to speak about it so I made the conscious decision to blog about it. As I said, my blog is like my letter to the world. When people read it, I got so many messages and calls from relatives advising me to not publicise it but I had personally experienced how much relief one gets from seeing/hearing/reading random strangers on the internet share their struggle. And when I got the first message saying that they could relate and were grateful to me for sharing, all those calls had no meaning left. I've talked about it so much now that I've managed to normalise it (on paper/screen) for me atleast. Family members are still unable to discuss such topics. Typing down my thoughts helps me clear my head so it's perfect for me.
Enough about me. Coming to KuKu, I totally get you on the flirting thing. If they hadn't shown Kunal's shy smile, I would have never been able to get it. I am so oblivious to such things and also as insecure as you are. I was so surprised when Kuhu announced her love for Kunal because I had never seen a female character be so forward with her feelings. The closest I came to seeing that was Arohi from Kitni Mohabbat Hai season 2 but I don't think even she was this forward in her confession.
I love Kuhu because she is so very different in the sense that she is so sure about who she is on the outside but not at all on the inside. It's a complete swap. We're always shown main characters being confident about their nature and insecure about their appearance, and if we are shown any female character be secure in her physical features, they are usually shown to be shallow beings but it's not so here.
I loved the therapy story. Kuhu really needs someone who would not judge her. Therapy se yaad aaya, has anyone seen TIU S4?? Back to the story, I just thought the way Kuhu was written in the 2nd chapter seemed a bit off to how she's been shown in the show. It was probably because I have analysed her too much. Also, I loved the way the chapter ended for the other fic (don't want to give spoilies for people who haven't read it).
BRB going to re-watch Champaner hehe.

He is full on playing with the wig😂😂. It's like a kid got a toy during work.
I will have to go watch these interviews later on.

Was this at the beginning of the show? I love how he's being Komolika with Kaveri's hair. I am so gonna go and watch this interview. 🤣
Another reason why Kunal should be with Kuhu: he can play with her hair when he's stressed out.
@Aqua- I am so happy you found a release in sharing your story. As said before, it's truly brave of you to share it, especially in the face of opposition. Sharing our story is cathartic not only for us but for the readers too. It's a beautiful process. No wonder you want to be a storyteller.
BTW, I went to your blog and wow! It's beautiful. I feel privileged to have a window into your mind.
