Even before Malaysian incident many non-asian countries ( islamic and non islamic ) decided to stop mosque gatherings . Islamic countries were led by their govts who decided to stop the congregations and encouraged people to pray at home and in many western countries muslim people themselves called meetings and decided to close mosques and pray at home even before govt passed a lock-down order . Nizamuddin is like a stop-over where hundreds and thousands of people are always there stopping by foreigners and indians but it was highly irresponsible of organisers to not take necessary step and to stop congregation , even though many of them are educated still they acted like arrogant jaahil people with a stubborn mindset .

You need to listen to Maulana Saad,the chief's audio and the picture becomes clearer. Also gives you an idea why the attendees are behaving the way they are. Why Muslims everywhere actually followed rules and why they didn't.

Right, then why didn't the order not explicitly mention it? They mentioned, sports/conferences/seminars. In the next order they mentioned, social/cultural/political/religious/academic/sports/conferences/seminars.

They should have been more clear in their communication.

AFAIK, earlier T Chandrashekhar Rao had defended the Tablighi Jamat nuisance by saying they did nothing wrong. Do you really think a politician will refuse permission to some other religious gathering when he has already defended Tablighi Jamaat ?

Many muslim countries have stopped mosque gatherings and have encouraged people to pray at home, even Saudi Arabia has closed down the holiest and busiest mosque to stop the spread of the virus, countries like Qatar were some of the first to ban flights from other countries when this coronavirus situation started

I dont know what this jamaat group is, but if they are encouraging people to spread the virus then they should be arrested, what they are doing is coz of their own idiocy and they do not represent all muslims at all

Like I said it's after the event narrative that's inexcusable. But after listening to their chief, it becomes quite clear why they did what they did and why they don't want to admitted.

And again who's denying idiots are everywhere. Doesn't minimize the effect of what Jamaat did at all. Again, I don't even have a problem with the gathering cause they have the lockdown reason down pat. It's everything that has happened after and what's happening now that's putting a huge question mark on the TJ's intentions.

What does it have to do with India ?

Are Indian muslims citizens of these Islamic countries or India ?
