I finally rewatched the first episode. And I must say I the camera work, acting, costumes were all top-notch in initial episodes. Kuhu and Kunal's entry was amazing. Ritvik looked sooo fine in his first scene. ( Somehow he reminds me the actors in Turkish series).

I noticed that Kaveri's acting has improved a lot compared to the first episode, especially her voice modulation is much better now.

Now that I have followed KuKu's story for a year, I felt kind of sad while watching the scene where Kuhu sees Kunal for the first time because now I know she will end up heartbroken after marrying Kunal.

I started liking KuKu from the first episode itself mostly because I liked the fact that Kuhu was not like typical ITV female characters who are shy around guys and hide their feelings. It was clear from the very beginning that she liked Kunal and she made no efforts to hide it. I love the scene where Kuhu gleefully says " Ussne mujhe dekha !!" 😆 I have lost the count of times I have watched that scene.

The first episode was well balanced between all the characters. The scenes of the four leads and the RV house scenes were flowing very well. Editing in current episodes is horrible and episodes seem choppy They should really hire back the same person for the job. 😊

But as Sam said, it was clear from the initial episodes itself that the writers wanted us to know which character was "right" and which ones were "wrong". 🤔 I still wonder why the writers put so much effort in giving layers to Kuhu's character when ultimately their plan was to show Kuhu as an immature and petty person. Does anyone else think that the makers had no idea that some viewers would end up liking KuKu as a couple?

I had thought of replying to all the posts but abhi I am just too engrossed in binge watching their scenes on this Insta page🙈🙈

Someone please make a VM on this music in the background. I don't know if the music will suit their scenes but it is the song of their first meet and it deserves to be put in a VM.

This is one of my most favourite scenes!!

I just realised that I say this about every scene of theirs🤪. Their chemistry is just so different from any couple I have seen on ITV. They can be hot, cute, angsty, explosive and oh so many other adjectives in one small scene. How do they both fit so much in so little screen time, yaar??? Thank God for whoever was the casting director of this show. They've done a mind-blowing job with all actors🐣

EDIT: Also, this is one of my fav looks of Kuhu and Kunal. Kunal looks soooooooo goood!!!☺️

Meenu-Parul-Mehul...I have so many questions like why Parul is named the 'sauten' or made to feel guilty when she didn't know Mehul was married? She was just as innocent in the whole situation right?

How was kunal actually given away? Did Meenu put the proposal across or did Parul ask Meenu to mother Kunal? In one of the flashbacks we saw Meenu bringing baby Kunal but we didn't see Parul in the picture...🤔.

I wanted to see what actually went down 😒.

Some of my q's have probably been answered in the epis but I must have missed it.

Actually during kuku marriage it was shown that parul come to meenu for help and meenu helped her without condition it was said in dialogue by meenu . So I think when parul comes to meenu and find about mehul betrayal and his crime she got shattered and feel helpless that how she grow up kunal as an identity of criminals son so meenu decide to bring kunal and parul at her home and give kunal her name I think this decision is taken by mutual consent by two shattered women who are worried about their respective child. Parul get a safe home where she keep watch on her son and take care and respected by everyone noone questioned her or judged her as a single women noone tries troubled her . On other hand meenu get another son who helped abir to reduce his pain of losing baba. Abir find a companion and a new happiness as children are fund of other kids meenu get a son who understand her better than her own son. Meenu always told her reason of her action to parul regarding kunal's life and even she approve kuku's alliance due to fear of losing kunal to avoid the harsh truth revelation later on meenu used this truth to mishbir breakup . Well parul actually gets the daughter- in- law of her choice but this things didn't applied on meenu.

This was the song I was asking you about a few weeks ago remember? I love this song but sadly I think it's just us who likes it because no one has uploaded it on youtube or anywhere else.😔

This version is made for this show, the original one is completely different from this version. I wish they would play it sometimes in the show.

But I guess our presence here is reason enough -- most of the audience find her unlikeable in any case, but as a bonus, they get weirdos like us hooked to the show and manage to keep us holding on to threads. It doesn't help that when they do focus on Kuku, however briefly, they give us something absolutely staggering (like humma humma!).

But my question is do they even care about the small number of weirdos like us? smiley36 I guess I will never get the real answer to why they make Kuhu's character likable sometimes, when they want the audience to hate her.

And they could have made KuKu a side couple with no focus on their married life. But clearly they want to give them some importance as well. Why else would this couple get a separate background score, a beautiful song dedicated just for them and so much social media attention?

Since they have clearly invested time and effort in developing KuKu as a couple why make one half of this couple unlikeable to the majority of the audience? So many questions and so little answers. smiley44From my understanding, I think Kuhu is writers lame attempt to write grey character but since general ITV audience just understands and accepts Black and White characters, writers are trying to make her character the darkest shade of Grey smiley36

I think the makers knew what they were doing with Kunal and Kuhu, and their objective was to make them likeable on screen together from the beginning. This is why we saw such an emphasis on the contrast between their two characters and the whole allusion to the "opposites attract" trope. However, (and I wrote about this a while back, so forgive me if I'm being repetitive) the main problem with ITV is that they're writing the story as the show airs, and the fact that this is a show that airs 6 days a week now does not help. Instead of tying up unresolved plotlines and characterizations, they are tending to focus more on what will get them the most viewership. This is incredibly problematic for people who actually like real substance in the content they watch, especially because this method of storytelling almost always involves creating a "villain" out of a character for no tangible reason.

Yes the format of ITV shows maybe one of the reasons why they play ping-pong with Kuhu's character. Whenever the writers run out of drama, they turn to Kuhu's character. And yes I do think KuKu was planned since the beginning especially because they roped in a known actor for Kunal's role. It's draining to ship of the couple who are the parallel leads, I have to keep finding the reasons to keep liking them 😆
