Mujhe kaafi boring lagi..stopped watching after an hour or so.
Yes it didn't felt like a Tarantino movie, it looked like someone inspired by Tarantino made the movie.

Two stubborn men from two different socio-economic backgrounds clash when a routine check for booze escalates to something more. Koshy is the privileged, arrogant scion of a rich family.Ayyappan is the illegitimate,salt-of-the-earth police inspector with tribal connections. Yet both are at fault and misunderstandings pile up. And both have supporters egging them on. Been a while since I saw a decent masala movie with proper characterization and motives.Prithviraj makes you feel sorry for the arrogant Koshy -a feat I'd have deemed impossible in the beginning. With a father like that urging you to "Be a Man" it's remarkable how his character grew. Biju Menon's Ayyappan reminds me so much of Dexter - he needs his uniform and clear rules to rein the raging animal in him.
Saw this one recently, and agree with you on everything.
I also kinda felt the theme was quite similar to Taxi No 9-2-11(or Changing Lanes/Collateral).
Sach mein I guess you need to stop watching all corona news and start watching some regular Non-Corona TV....😆

Even I had that realisation yesterday😆 but can't help it.. earlier I used to check WhatsApp when I wake up . Aaj Kal coronavirus tracker dekhta Hun 😵
Watched Panipat. Enjoyed it. Well researched and interesting screenplay. More focus on history details which was impressive.
Street Dancer — super meh. Somehow finished it in multiple seating.
Panga — Slow screenplay but nicely acted by all. Kangu shows why she is hailed as a good actress. I liked that it was less dramatic sports movie. Liked Prashant guy actor and Nidha Kabaddi player actor.
avane srimannarayana : mast movie. Despite such a long lenght, thoroughly enjoyable, mostly due to the charming lead character.
Also that girl Shanvi Srivastava is dope, she is what Sonakshi Sinha wants to be, with all weight loss stuff.
American Pie: The Book.of Love: well it was what it was LOL. I also found Beth Behrs have so much similarity with Dia Mirza.

I like how all the 3 movies were immersed in their particular local mileau. Not just scene by scene copies of the same theme.I have to admit that Taxi 9211 is my favorite. The epilogue made all the previous drama seem worthwhile.
Feel free to discuss any movies you've recently watched. Link to previous thread !
