Well am so happy that the original version of Mahabharat and Ramayan is back and started today. They were fantastic, great learning, content and stories weren't changed or messed like Nowadays history and Mytho genres do.

True! I am thankful that we didn't have to tolerate TASHAN wala BITTER-SWEET love story.

I just watched the episode to see the revelation of Piya being Daivik. I thought Piya was inconsolable. 😳 I mean she was hurt, evidently but I am glad she didn't cry phoot phoot ke. 🤪

Another thing I noticed, Piya just answered one of my biggest questions? WHY DO HEROINES FAIL TO TIE THE DORI ON ONE PARTICULR DAY? 😆

Apparently, someone else's help is needed always. 😆

BTW, I fell in love with Guru Maa all over again. She was a classy lady indeed! 👍🏼 🤗

I watched Mahabharat. Not the total series but the most important episodes. It was amazing and more importantly there was no forced romanticization. 👏 👏 👏

Well, I was not even born at the time when Ramayan or Mahabharata used to air originally. But yes, I have definitely watched re-runs of both the shows. And I am a big fan of both.

Okay, this season is about revenge...

Jennifer's character Maya's name originally was Manvi. She used to work in the main antagonist, MJ's company. She was naive and easily gullible. She initially rejected MJ's advances when he gifted her a bouquet. This hurt his ego. So, he made an elaborate plan and trapped her in his love. Finally, when she got pregnant, he planned to get rid of the unborn kid. When Manvi resisted, he planned to get rid of both her and the unborn kid. He along with his associates kidnapped her and tortured her which led to her miscarriage and then left her to die. They also killed her father and brother too and her mother suffered a memory loss.

That torture was indeed inhuman...

So, she is back to take revenge...

In the process of revenge, she killed MJ's younger son and was about to kill his older son but his genuine care and love for her and the fact that he was ready to sacrifice his life for her sake moved her and she could not kill him.

Indeed... Both shows were definitely gems. My maa used to tell me that when Ramayan was originally telecast, everyone used to just sit in front of their television sets. There used to be no one on the streets...
