Re-vamp- achint kaur

Achint Kaur aka Mandira will soon be back in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi after a one-year-long sabbatical. The actress, who was busy with Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Karam Apna Apna and Viruddh, is thrilled to be back in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The creative team of Balaji Telefilms is currently working on some changes in Achint's track and her look. Apparently, the actress had resigned from the show earlier when she realised that her character in Kyunki… didn't have much to do.

Achint says, "It was a creative decision to have me back in the show. We have an understanding with the production house so our characters come and go as per the demands of the script. Ekta (Kapoor) called me and I am back in the show now. I like doing all kinds of roles and I enjoyed playing a negative character in Kyunki…."

Commenting on her new track in Kyunki…, Achint says, "There will be no major transitions. But, the creative team of Kyunki… is working on a few changes in my role. I will continue to play a negative character in the show. That's all I can say right now as I am yet to get the details of my dates and the look. "

Says Riti Chopra, creative head of Kyunki…, "The scriptwriters and Ekta have decided to have Achint back in the show. She will be reintroduced in the show by March-end. Her character will add the much-needed twist to the tale. Achint will be wearing saris in Kyunki… like she used to. Also her character will be similar to what she played earlier."
