TBH Perfect Pati falls under the category where you absolutely hate the storyline but still can watch it for the actors. I mean Ayush was simply awesome. And I had later watched the initial episodes as a forum member had suggested it; Ayush and Sayali had amazing chemistry. Not the typical, hot wala love but they complimented each other. Channel definitely interferes but still, the ultimate control is in your hand. Just because channel told you, you turned it into utter crap? As a creative person you can definitely come up with different scenarios and if it doesn't click then go off air. Chanel alone cannot be held responsible if you don't have the vision to progress your work.

YMMKD had a sudden two weeks' notice and Saba Mumtaz ended it with her plan intact. She couldn't complete it but at least hinted at the development that would take place in the future and ended it on a happy note.

Now if makers like Sandip Sickand goes on barking that channel didn't give time which is absolutely false and he was forced to degrade the quality - then you can definitely see the lack of creativity and denial there.

Well yes, ahead of that plot, she works in his academy. He too had some messy qualities, and even she just kept giving in. Hence I told you his two friends had a great story, substance like both scolded him too, their love track took time to progress. Infact his friend even used to explain stuff to Niyati. Niyati's friend, too happy go lucky type, like did all crazy stuff and told or tried to help, but she was stubborn🤣

Actually there was this track of Abigail and Utkarsh, which was superb and she was a great character. It wasn't forced cos from start of show, he used to talk about Aneri and everyone just assumed it's his imagination, their fault. But she made so much sense, as a character. Like it was obvious Niyarsh, it's same right...were end game. But it was a fresh and positive character. I actually appreciate Abigail's project choices, hence I asked you on Silsila..

Also, worst part was Niyati being too mahan...and by too mahan, I actually mean that! Youth shows, no one went to that extreme.

Like she just blindly followed whatever he said, or even messed up like totally insulted. Infact his friends had blasted him once they understand how he behaved, but Niyati said nothing?!!! Like you love him is fine... but this seemed toxic.

Plus there was a total vamp in the show, and all know about it and blast her maybe but Niyati justified her and said she is milk white ... Can you beat that?!

True, totally agree, you can't end it, but she gave a hint atleast and did it well. It's fair. Quite a few shows do it, like you need to end well.

Totally agree!! Plus all fans keep justifying, it could have been fab if no notice. Whole purpose of notice is to clear your mess, be productive and end well.

One more clear example I remember was Bepannah, which they totally messed post leap. But I saw end week and gosh the insult to all degrees and medical profession was another level, I tell you!

You see, this is another reason why I never tried to watch D4 despite you praising the dance steps and the parallel/supporting cast.

Because I did FF a considerable amount of episodes only to catch a glimpse of Niyati but the storyline never interested me. Coming to Utkarsh's character, he might be a good actor and dancer but I have problem with his character's stereotyping too - that a popular creative person be it a singer or dancer has to be unnecessarily arrogant and at some points abusive.

And like you said, putting up with every nonsense he threw at her just because she loved him - that's toxic. 😡

Another thing which I disliked was the BFF of the ML. You are saying that he guided Niyati's character. I watched some scenes where I really felt he went overboard. Like he didn't want Mikhail's career to suffer and unnecessarily scolded Baby even when she wasn't at fault.

I hated that part because why should Baby tolerate that? She was an employee, not a doormat that anyone can hurl abuse at her.

You know, there was this scene in Bhootu where Suchi came to office wearing a weird combination of colors and when Aarav told her to change she put him in his place saying - HUM KAM KE PAISE LETE HAIN, APNI DRESS KI COLOR COMBINATION DIKHANE KE LIYE NAHI. JAO! KAPRE CHANGE KARKE AAO. NAHI JAYENGE!!! I just loved her in that scene.

So I had this overall problem with the script.

I liked Abigail though. I don't have a proper idea but whatever scenes I had seen of her, she seemed positive and I actually liked her better with Utkarsh - the bonding, clarity and friendship.

Exactly!!! I know a lot of people's livelihood are dependent on it so the show must survive. But a creative person must have at least some attachment with his/her creation, no? So at least try. Why add so much masala that the ultimate flavor gets vanished?

I have seen Eijaz praising YMMKD from time to time when it comes to praising his work. And it's evident that he as an artist enjoyed playing the role because of the way they developed the story.

Hence you can't put the entire blame on the channel when you lack the vision.

About Bepanah, I used to read updates to know why did Pooja and Yash cheat on their respective spouses. TBH, I actually find Pooja's falling out of love justified. But then again, when it was revealed, I noticed majority of the fans were rallying behind Aditya as he is the lead. But I felt Pooja suffered the most. I wish they had given a proper explanation behind Yash's cheating too. Because Zoya is immature - that is the lamest excuse they could have ever come up with.

Didn't follow the WU after that.

Considering JenShad were the leads, I can very well understand how fans might have tried to prove the show to be best. Now whether it was or not, that's another debate. I won't indulge in that as I haven't seen it. 😊
