I also really like how Kuku are progressing so for now I am on team #chipKuku 😆 It was great to see that their conversation just kept continuing through all the other stuff that was happening. And I know this is super tiny, but I loved that when Abir apologised for talking to Kuhu like that, Kunal didn't negate his apology and say, aap ne kuch galat nahi kaha (which honestly, I expected). He said it's okay and that they all said unnecessary things in anger, which means that he was agreeing that the way Abir spoke to Kuhu was not cool. I also loved the way he kept checking on her as he was talking to Abir.

Basically, I found Kunal's patience and balance very attractive in today's episode.

Whenever this show does end up coming back, can we please actually get a Kunal/Varsha scene? I can't think of anyone better suited to guide him through his Meenu/Parul crisis right now, especially as she understands Meenu's feelings to such a minute degree. Plus, it would gain him so many brownie points with Kuhu if he went to her mum for advice. ❤️

@ bold: Sam I think that is the beauty of any form of art, everyone has their own version and understanding of the same piece of work. I loved the way both you and Ria expressed your thoughts and analyzed the episode and I am so glad that we have this AT to discuss our different points of view amicably.

I said earlier today that I have no problem with KuKu arguing but for once, I just wanted the fight about them and their feelings not about any third person. It would have been much more realistic for me if KuKu were fighting because they thought the other person didn't support or care about their feelings or decisions. (Something similar to what we saw after Kuhu came back from the hospital. They were talking about THEM, not anyone else) But of that is expecting too much from the parallel lead of ITV family drama. 😆

@blue: I would love to see Kunal and Varsha's scenes. They are really underused in the show.

#chipKuku !! Love this new hashtag smiley37

@bold, yes I loved that part to, KuBir bond should not be messed with.

As for the episode, the reason for my point of view is that I have a soft spot for Kuhu. This is because this girl has not given a proper breakdown scene, she hasn't expressed her hurt and feelings about the sham marriage, divorce. I really liked the conversation she had with Abir in the car after she told him that she wants to go home. She let out her emotions, and with Kunal before marriage when she told him about MishKu.

To me its like she is holding so much inside and it comes out in all these insecurities and some of Kunal's actions further make those insecurities legitimate. This is why I need a KuKu conversation to actually know what Kunal thinks, where does Kuhu stand for him. The second marriage was rushed, to me him accepting that he loves Kuhu in front of Maheswaris was only due to the fear of losing Kuhu Rajvansh the daughter-in-law and not the partner. His words and his actions differ.

Not to put damper on Humma Humma, but did you see how he jumped for his mom's call and left Kuhu not even giving it a second thought. He didn't even look a little disappointed about his moment with Kuhu being interrupted. I see this continuing, he will leave Kuhu if his mom, bhai and now babhi (because Mishti is Abir's priority) need him too. He doesn't include Kuhu when making important decisions like handing over red pear, yeah he apologized for that, but then he pulled that ribbon stunt. He seems to be taking Kuhu on a ride, by making big promises that seem to fall flat.

@ bold 2: YES PLEASE. I didn't even think of that! That would be so so wonderful.

I was quite proud of that hashtag, so thanks for noticing 😆

When Varsha said she would have to talk to Kunal, I was like YESS! That was the only part of the episode I enjoyed bejhijak. It took me back to Kunal's promise not to hide anything from her after at shaadi 2.0. He definitely needs some help dealing with his multiple mom situation as well as the Mishti-triggered Kuhu and who better to help than Varsha, who has decades of experience with both?

Sam, please write that HC of Varsha and Kunal before this emotion fades away into oblivion. I really want to read it. I won't be able to wait for months to see how the story pans out. Please please please write it!🙆🏻‍♀️

The way Kunal talked to Kuhu in the episode was showed that Kuhu has no value in his life. In real life, I don't think an educated and independent woman would actually tolerate that aggressive tone from her husband. This is not the 1920s. ( It might have just the way Ritvik said the dialogue but it sounded really aggressive to me)

Today's episode was all about proving Kuhu wrong. Kunal, Abir, Mishti everyone was saying how immature Kuhu is behaving. But I am not even surprised. Like I have said before, this track is to make Kuhu's character almost negative by isolating her from everyone. This track is definitely heading towards Kunal dumping Kuhu for his brother and his bhabhi. Since I have zero expectations for this couple, I was not even disappointed with the scenes we got.

Since this was the last episode before the break, the fresh episodes will most probably air only in May. I am hoping to get over this couple by that time and not have even think about them 😆But again, I will not get to enjoy Kaveri's acting if I don't continue watching it. 😭 I am so confused 😆

Hi Nikki,

Yes this track is definitely focusing on isolating Kuhu and it does not make sense to me. Because they gave her so much growth, she showed empathy for Mishti during Nish-Mish and Abir misunderstanding, she supported Abir over he brother. She balanced her professional and personal life without any drama and yet writers are trying too hard to make her seem negative.

I am also hoping that maybe I will be over this jodi, but then again I am working on continuing a HC for them, my way taking frustration out with the current track.

Here is a HC that I wrote in the previous AT, I am continuing it.

@Pihu- I know you want me to continue the Its Over!, but I am having a writer's block on that one. I have a pretty good idea on where I want this one to go.

Oh yes!! I would love to see this one pan out too!!! I love your stories, as mentioned multiple times before!! Your thought process is so different, maybe because you're much more frustrated with Kunal than us but whatever be the reason, I love the way you write!!

I'll read it after the Puja at home. Gotta run to get ready now!!!

I am up because as mentioned, there is a puja at home. God! I am so sleepy!!

Anyway, haven't seen the episode yet but you all seem to have such differing opinions. I'm actually excited to watch it now because of this very reason. I got a different vibe with each post and that hasn't happened in a very long time. This is going to be super interesting now.

Oh wow, you are already awake? I feel like I am half-dead since I slept late coz of last night's "KuKu almost did the deed" party 😆

And I would love to read your thoughts on the episode after you get time to watch it. This is the last episode before the COVID-19 break so I hope you enjoy it 😉

@Nikki: At the moment, I think their feelings for each other are pretty clear, and the problems are external, so their fights will be about that as well. That said, I thought their morning conversation, which was calmer and clearer did a good job of getting to the core issues. Kuhu is worried about Kunal taking on an unfair share of the burden and Kunal doesn't think it's a problem as long as it's his choice to do that. That board exam comment was so Kunal. 🤣

Kunal needs to get that he doesn't get to make solo decisions anymore and Kuhu needs to understand that this is the workaholic she married in full awareness. I see them slowly inching towards that.

@Ria: I totally agree with everything you said, but I am enjoying these developments because the characters are being fleshed out well. It's definitely hard watching Kuhu get the short end of the empathy stick, but that has been the case since episode 1, and it is what makes her character's resilience so impactful when she rises above it.

Kunal is slowly learning that Kuhu's flaws and insecurities aren't going anywhere and he has to learn to deal with them. Of course he has a long way to go, but today I saw a start. He managed to get through to Kuhu that she made an assumption about Mishti calling Meenu without knowing all the facts, and that led to far more drama. When he saw that Abir was escalating the conflict with Kuhu, he stepped in. It's a proper role reversal because he used to be the dog with a bone while she saw the bigger picture. Now he's doing the same for her. I love that she listened to him when he told her to stay back -- you can see the early signs of the great team they will make.

Kunal's reaction to Meenu's call post-humma humma is precisely why I think Kuhu has a very valid point about how Kunal is treated by the family. At this point though, Kunal doesn't see it as a problem. I guess my point is, yes, their relationship is very kaccha but it's inching in the right direction for a solid, long-term base where they learn to meet half way.
