AAAAHHH!!!! ☺️
Remember when I said I don't even want romance? I was wrong. These two are so hot and somehow adorable and cheeky at the same time. Give me ALL THE ROMANCE.
I also really liked the substance of the episode. 👍🏼 Kuhu has become a Rajvansh while Mishti is still very much a Maheshwari. Her not-a-lecture was very reminiscent of BM and Varsha. What Mishti doesn't know is that Kuhu was officially granted permission by both Abir and Kunal to speak frankly about Meenu (at the NishMish sangeet). These three have a lot of history which makes Mishti's implication that she knows better ring quite hollow.
I always enjoy the leads' story more when they have some convincing conflict, and are more part of the ensemble cast and overall story. I really like this storyline for them -- Abir seeing Meenu's bigger game and Mishti wanting to take everything at face value. She really should not have texted Ketu. It was *technically* not a breach of their agreement but very much in line with her typical manmani. If these four don't stick together (as Abir and Kuhu are insisting) then today's episode showed that Meenu will exploit even the tiniest faultline. It's that grihapravesh scene playing out, basically. Will Mishti make Abir and Kuhu win, or will she choose her own victory and make Meenu win as a result?
But this is exactly what I meant yesterday when I said nothing Kuhu does is going to surprise/upset me now. She went into #rebellionmode precisely because of how hard she saw Kunal working. It's cool because for once, all four of them have separate and really well-fleshed out conflicts and motivations.
P.S. Thanks to everyone who liked my previous post! Kuhu kind of surprised me today, but it was a pleasant surprise. I wanted her to fight with Kunal but she found a more productive way to give him a jhatka 😈 and decided to fight the root cause instead.
Okay now off to watch Humma Humma on repeat ☺️
