The Khicdi

Ok now we hav a guy who rescued Manvi, cured her, had a fetish for BG and it seems Maya learned BG slokas from him. Maybe I agree but lets just go back to the first episodes where Maya tells BG, it doesnt seem she learnt it from somewhere. Krishna is the Lord she believed in, its like she knew the Lord personally, she knew his teachings personally, she had one to one convo with Krishna and so did Manvi, she talked to Krishna from her heart. Tho is bande ko Maya ko BG sikhane ki zaroorat nahin hai.

Now in FB Manvi decides to lie to this guy, fake memory loss becoz she wants revenge from MJ. So Manvi wanted revenge from MJ and she made her rescuer her pawn. Arrey I can watch a dark show, but not a khicdi that is being served. Character needs to build connect with audience. Maya Mehrotra had that connect. Her actions were relatable. Maya Jaisingh has become Khicdi, writers doesnt know what they want to do with her. I will watch this week episode, if I am being served more messy khicdi its goodbye from my side.

Everything was predetermined according to the actor his entry and exit was always a part of this story.

Coming To Maya Jaisingh, This is what they promised, this show was supposed to be dark, there's a reason why Jennifer said that she fears Maya sometimes, I am a bit put off by regular ITV divine intervention they showed between Rudra and Maya. Rudra hating Maya for killing his brother without knowing about her past is FINE, anyone would do that these flashbacks make it seem like he doesn't mind Rishi's death, it's all a facade, the change should come when he learns the complete truth.

When everyone is asking Prerna to be like Maya, here Rudra is acting like Prerna 🤦‍♀️

Maybe they spent whole episode on Rudra walking from one corner to another because they don't have episodes and they have stopped shooting today

You said it Shruthi...the CVs are completely messing up with Maya’s characterisation now! As it is, it was getting difficult to empathise with her after Rishi’s murder but now even her persona seems fake or an imitation. Her connect with Krishna & interpretation of the BG made her character interesting, an enigma, even if at times she seemed to be using BG to justify her wrong actions. But with this new side of Manvi being revealed they are stripping the mystery & magic of Maya completely. If she really used & cheated on this guy for her revenge then she does not deserve Rudra’s love. This will really take away all credibility of Maya.

Regardless of what the actor stated, I still think his character and track wasn’t a part of the original storyline. Idk something looks out of place. This show was termed as a dark thriller but is slowly becoming a khichdi like shruti Ravi said.

@norasm no actor or producer is gonna tell they have changed script. It needed a Harshad Chopda to scream out, I had to take poison pill openly post his ITA award and many criticised him for that, telling he is salty abt BP closing suddenly. I admired the actors courage to tell the script is not fixed, every week it gets changed and tampered and sometimes beyond recognition. Dark is not this. I hav read and watched more dark things.Watch chikappu rojakkal a tamil psycho thriller or even Kaun in Hindi which are dark . This is khicdi in the name of dark.

Contrary to this, I see everything making sense now. We know who saved Maya, we know from where she got her name, now we know why Maya and Rudra did not marry properly. All Maya and Rudra did was take pheras but this marriage stands invalid, if they want to show that Maya was married to Vikram hence the last name, the reason they didn't show Maya and Rudra consummating their marriage, they are covering loose ends

@armu MM was bindaas from first episode till last episode and when she died u shed tears and that last scene of season 1, Maya beinthaa hain, beyhadh hain it was goosebumps.

How do we decide that they changed it? I think they rushed into it because of time slot change, they skimmed over a few things, I find everything very logical

@norasm becoz it makes sense to a set of audience like u subpar themes rules ITV, sorry to be saying this, but the fact is ITV audience impatience, lack of understanding of proper script has led to the fall of standard in ITV shows. Ur talking abt devi in tv, arrey who showed devi in tv or divine interventions in tv in 90s or early 2000s. We had alpvirams, korakagaz, junoon, shanti and swabhimaan where there were no devi's only human characters.
