Kuhu can not tell you to write it and I wasn't being mean to her because she does not exist

Kunal didn't go to anybody for advice. The topic came up when they were already conversing. Abir went to Kunal and told him to do the "right thing". Also, why are we having a discussion on this? Abir clearly accepted that he influenced Kunal in today's episode. He knew what he was doing and I am just saying that he shouldn't have done that.

Hi🤗

Wow long post.😊 good analysation.

Forgive me if I don't go into it too much, though as I don't think I can add anything more. I would say that there is numerous facets to Meenu and I hope we get to see them all. She has more hidden depths than all the oceans of this world!🤣 seriously, I feel like I know her internal/external issues and then wham something else is shown/hinted at.... Good to see everyone getting excited, means the show is having the impact they wanted. As for Kunal, he is slowly starting to emerge from big bhai's shadow - will Abir regret this independence any day soon? methinks yes....but not for a long while yet...unless speedboat story happens like this week.🤔

But I am very preoccupied with that one thing Meenu keeps threatening (the air it seems😆) about 'the sach of both girls out in open'...i mean what sach?!...It is so funny, I am in deep edits but I just cannot concentrate, at random times this just pops into my mind...🤣 https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/yeh-rishtey-hai-pyaar-ke/5157381/randome-qs-observations-and-meeting-of-minds - I mentioned few things here, very sarcastically, after spending my time watching another shambles of a weeks episode, but now I am beginning to wonder if maybe that is it?! otherwise by now I think everyone got it that both girls don't get along well.

Honestly, we are now entering the phase where Abir and Meenu will take pot-shots at one another. As usual the main target for Meenu will be Mishti...she will also have a main pawn...two teams are assembling...and I see more twists and turns...yet no end to closing some of the open-ended tracks...definitely power play will happen but not between Abir and Meenu...yet..... at the moment it will be more a mother showing her son she is right and a son showing his mum that he is right....hmmmm

Also, why is there a confusion over Abir and Meenu convo? I saw a clip and it seems straight forward...

edited to add: one thing I will say, in last week alone there was massive character growth for practically everyone in the RV house. I was so waiting for that. I just hope it does not stall as they once more go through a round of song/dance and et al.

Heya Dreamy!🙋🏻‍♀️

Thank you for the appreciation!🙈

I know!! It feels like we don't know nothing about her. She is the only one whose real reactions are hard to predict because she is always in character. Meenu can do what no other character could: she got us all excited and looking forward to an episode without having a fandom war in weeks😆. All hail the Dragon Mother (in-law)!!!🤪

I don't think Kunal is emerging from anyone's shadow to be an independent soul. I'm pretty sure Abir will regret it if and when that day comes. What makes you say that though? Am I missing something?

Meenu is omnipresent in all our minds today. I read your post. The ideas were really out of the box but the last one🤣.

I really don't like this waiting game. I am so glad that shooting is going to be stopped for some time because the show has been going off track now. Hopefully, the writers will now have some time to better the plot because I am pretty sure that from tomorrow, we are going back to bad episodes. This episode was the high point and probably written beforehand and that is why it was such a balanced episode. We are not going to be lucky everyday and I am pretty sure they are going to stall. The song and dance is basically a kind of pacifier for the couple fandoms.

I am not too sure about the confusion about the Abir-Meenu conversation (I am yet to go through the thread but it's already reached 10pages) but I do feel there are some Easter eggs hidden in that conversation. I'll have to watch the scene again to make sure if I am right or not, but that's my theory for now.

Am I the only one who feels that Mishti expressions looked overly sweet in the last 2 episodes? It reminded me of the fake smiley face I make during "mahino ke unn din" so that nobody finds out how much pain I am actually in (Probably Rhea was in pain, who knows?) It made me really uncomfortable which is probably how some of you felt while reading the previous line.

I totally agree with this point. I also felt uncomfortable while watching mishti-parul scenes but could not figure out why. I thought maybe the use of body doubles is making me feel like this but you put it into words very articulately.

And finally excellent post again 👏

Kunal went to Abir and Mishti multiple times for this, he kept asking Abir what he should do as he can't see his mother being treated like a servant by people, Kunal is not wrong in giving Parul her rights, He is not taking away Meenu's rights, Parul will still do household work but people won't misbehave with her, no child can see his mother being ill treated, whatever Kunal did was right for me

When did Abir accept influencing Kunal?

Kunal said it was his decision in today's episode, give the man some agency, don't put everything on Abir and Mishti

Thought I would directly reply to you here. Meenakshi is first and foremost a narcissist. Her love is always self-serving. Even yesterday, I feel she was more annoyed because she felt Parul took her limelight than feeling insecure about Kunal. As the episode progressed, I understood she does feel some sadness about it but then it's always about her, in the end. All of Meenakshi's other avatars like mother, Parul's friend etc are subordinate to Meenakshi the narcissist matriarch. She has routinely shown that she is a poor judge of character. Her obstinate ways have often landed the family she claims to care about in trouble. I don't see any redemption for her because she is the only character so far to never show any remorse or introspect on her actions.

Kunal- His main problem is his lack of EQ. One has to understand which approach works with which person. When he disregards Kuhu's feelings, he makes her more resentful. Kuhu has always felt that she is not heard when it comes to Mishti. As her husband, he should at least hear her out and then decide if she is being rational or not. It's usually 'my way or the highway' with him. When he hated Mishti, he wanted Kuhu to hate her too. Now that he likes Mishti, he wants Kuhu to like her too. People are not so mechanical. He needs to understand that. I remember a post talking about how he loves Kuhu Rajvansh and not Kuhu Maheshwari. I completely agree. I had said this before that he seems to love Kuhu the Rajvansh bahu, the fact that everyone in his family loves her, that she is accepted by them. Will he be able to love the not so savoury parts of her? We'll have to see.

Kuhu- Well, her character is gonna swing from one extreme to the other as and when the writers wish. Post-leap there was this maturity that had set in but now, she is out of control. Do I mind it? Not entirely because a lot of male characters go from being criminal to Raja Harishchandra, so I don't mind a grey female character. I think we're harsher on female characters than on male characters. Whatever she has done so far is wrong but I want to see how she makes up for it.

Abir- I really like him. I like that he is a good person with control over his temper. His only shortcoming right now are some of his solutions which are downright whimsical. Even in the past, he made a huge mistake by not informing Kuhu and her family about Kunal running away from their wedding. It would have saved Kuhu a world of pain. He tries to do what he thinks will make everyone happy but of course, his judgement gets compromised at times. While I really liked that Parul Maasi got her 'haq', I feel he has been pushing Kunal to accept her as his maa and that shouldn't be rushed, IMO. Also, Meenu is now like a ghayal sherni, ready to pounce.

I also feel that the Maheshwaris need to address Kuhu's insecurities instead of scolding her. Clearly, the scolding is not helping. They need to sit down with her and understand why she feels the way she does. Same with Jasmeet. Sure, she is spewing venom these days but there was a trigger to this: the way Nannu and Mishti's rishta ended. I remember she had changed her perspective towards Mishti till a few months back and then the Nannu incident happened. No mother would want their child to marry someone who is in love with their ex. This is not to justify her actions but rather to ask why the Maheshwaris don't address this. Shutting her down is a temporary fix, not a permanent one.

Hi Sumaiya!

Makes me kind of relieved to know that I wasn't the only one feeling uncomfortable. I don't know how I feel🤔 about sharing a similarity to my cramp-pain expressions but I brought it up so I have to deal with the feeling when someone can relate with it😆

Thank you for appreciating!

I saw the episode and I agree with what he is saying.

And your and Nora's replies have made me realise that I should have elaborated more on the Abir-Kunal point because my feelings are not that clear in the original post.

dont mind me saying but this is the classical kunal behaviour...if he goes to kuhu and asks what ever may be the answer but he reacts what he sees at that moment... for me kuhu is not controlling any damage... she couldnt stop reporters before press meet calling parul naukrani... and on press meet she couldnt control reporters asking questions to meenu...

first it was mishti both times and lead by kuhu... this mishku relation is like that... if one will start other will lead... they have to work with eo...im not saying kuhu never took first step and mishti followed this also happened but at final it is in their hands...
