Ummm..this also i uunderstands.the sudden excess sweetness.
Bt i feel more cringey when meanu does that to mish.
Or even mishnal for a fact.
How come they are so much in tune type buddy out of nowhere?
In comparison to that, evn though it looks extra sweet,i can digest & be happy about masi & mish.
U told that u remember their preleap equation.
I remember it like this.
Abir introduced masi as family & since than mish & even kuhu respected her.
Mish nvr measures someone on their status, so She readily asked masi to cheer with Her & enjoyed drinks like family,on the very first day of kushti gd.Forget kunal, not even benba considered parul that much high as human before.
Parul liked her there, instantly. & for the first time ever parul maasi thought, benba mayb wrong about Mishti's quality.
They had a solid separate bonding throughout the show.
When mish knew parul as kunal's mom,she hugged her, took her blessing & fed her kheer.
As a girl whose parents left her for everything else in world,Mishti was overwhelmed to see parul who left her everything -family,self respect even mother's right - for her son.
Since then, mish was always awed of masi.
Her attitude & lil nuances proved that.
Even after revealing the birth truth,it was not kunal bt masi from whom she actually seeked forgiveness.
I can go on & on.my point is, masi & Mishti's bond is irrespective of any familiar bonds.
And both always try to help the other one Out. Sometimes in ott way.i admit.
Bt that bond is pure.
& how they act now,i find it real.
Rather the somethingness they consistently hype bt i really dont get it.
(I'm sry about the rant & the last punch line.bt i am really angry with abir's too much pampering of kuhu.kunal got a slap & kuhu Was let free????for the same crime?
They are so unfair on my nankooo!)
I really love the way you gave the parallel between Mishti's mother and Parul. That really gives me an insight into why she respects and loves Parul so much. Thank you for that!
I do have to say that I did find Rhea's expressions in the past 2-3 episodes very unnatural. I don't really know why I am feeling like that because her acting has been so on point till now. Maybe it's what I am assuming it to be and if so, I really do hope she is okay because cramps are a b***h.
I hadn't realised that the last line was for Kuhu until you mentioned the punchline part. Koi nahi. I don't know why everyone feels that the makers are trying to hype her. They are just showing every characters' progression and thought process. I have realised this week that we are not seeing the story as a whole but rather just supporting our own favourite characters. If you see the show in it's entirety, you'll probably see that everyone's behaviour is in character considering what their characters have gone through or are going through. We are just not giving the writers enough credit because we disconnect for 24hours from the story after 20mins of viewing every day. There was a post on the KuKu AT a few days ago discussing the episode where Parul advises Abir about Kuhu and Mishti and then the conversation between Abir and Kuhu happens. I'll quote the part below. I think it will give you more insight into why Abir is letting Kuhu go scot-free.

Parul's advice to Abir was great. She has actually understood the girls really well -- Kuhu wears her heart on her sleeve and Mishti is an overthinker. This is why this battle (not against Kuhu but against her own insecurities) is always going to be harder for Mishti. All Kuhu needs to be happy and secure is a loving, supportive environment; if she has that, her 'bachpana' manifests as the innocence and the carefree attitude that allows her to spread joy to everyone and bring humour out in even the most reserved people (Kunal and Meenu being case in point). When she feels insecure, that same bachpana manifests as these impulsive, harmful acts.
I hope this gives you more insight into Kuhu's character and helps with why Abir is behaving the way he is with Kuhu.
