That is actually a good question. Instead of Abir advising her to let it go, he should have asked her to disclose it to the maheshwaris. Uska bhi samajh aata hain.....he doesn't have right over Kuhu as he has over Kunal. Mishti ko kya karna hain usse bhi nahi patah One minute she wants to hide Kuhu's kaands and other minute wants to disclose it. Totally a confused soul. And abir is confusing her more 😆😆She definitely needs a guiding figure or she needs to listen to her core instead of seeking Abir's approval or family's.

Thats the difference between both of their techniques.

Kuhu is manipulative but she is not smart like Abir as Kuhu doesn't see beyond her hate for Mishti.

She is like a chameleon, changes colour according to situations, mostly to protect herself as you said. She is not showing her true self with warts and all to everyone maybe becoz of the fear of being judged.

Maybe they didn't address kuhu issue earlier because they want to build strong bond between devar and bhabhi.. That why first they sort out mishti and kunal issue....

In our show mah ne bas dono ko "chup raho" ya tu badi hai bolker chup kerwaya hai. Ache se sikhaya hi nahi... so It depends on family too how they have been dealing with their children insecurities. sometimes they unintentionally suppress their behavior or avoid them. But later these insecurities these bachpana wala behavior becomes too much and they become stubborn.
