Yes, precisely.

Umm I don’t know why people keep bashing Taapsee. She is such a good actress. Alia is great but she didn’t have a big role in Gully and still gets for best actress is unfair. While Taapsee has been doing central roles and is getting applauded for her performance.

Because she is a threat. She may not be a brilliant actress like Tabu, but she's extremely passionate and does well in her films. And she has been doing consistently good work even though she doesn't have the opportunities that starkids have. And probably because she doesn't look conventionally beautiful and has come up from being a nobody. It's difficult to digest for a lot of people.

I personally don't find Tapsee that great an actor. But I must say she has benefited the most from this nepotism debate. She is only good at pink type roles. She is a one note actor. She was really bad in sand ki ankh & judwa 2. Overall I prefer watching kiara and kriti over her.

Anyway for change someone besides alia got an award.

Taapsee was very mediocre in Badla. She was hardly moving her facial muscles, stiff and bland she was.

Still, I'm glad she won it over Alia. Anyone except Alia is now my motto.
