Okay honestly today’s episode was too much. Kunal literally has no mind of his own. He started the episode by saying that he only has one mother and ended the episode by calling Parul “maa”. Bruh. A flip like that in less than 20 minutes of content. Not believable OR digestible. In their craziness to be the fixer uppers, Abir and Mishti LITERALLY do not know when to stop meddling. And Kuhu could’ve 100% given that saree to Parul, but she was probably way too busy in event preparation that she overlooked it. And when Mishti remembered, couldn’t she have given Kuhu the gift to give to Parul? But no. Mishti HAD to be the one to gift it to Parul just to make Kuhu look like the shallow one with a superiority complex.

I just want to cry. Kunal and Kuhu’s story is actually over. It looks like the makers don’t want to explore their story any further. WHY does this always happen to me? From Kabir-Anushka in Saraswatichandra to Lakshman-Urmila in Ramayan and Naksh-Keerti in YRKKH, I’ve been falling over and over and over for the parallel/supporting couples instead of the main couple and it’s made my life MISERABLE. Allow me to go dig myself a hole and sob in it.

infact parul acceptance mein bhi kunal ka reluctance was shown but in mishti's case he suddenly has no reservations!!

@bold.. that's the biggest let down for me. Kunal doesn't even think of talking to Kuhu on such important things. It's not just Mishti but Kuhu too who is not living with her birth mom. In fact she should be more relatable to him since she's illegitimate as well.. but he talks to Mishti bhabhi🥺😔 Kunal broke my heart. I can imagine what Kuhu might have gone through if she gets to know

I wrote this as a reply on the Meenu post but I guess I should share it here as well. Let me know what you think.

Coming to Kuhu, I am assuming they had to destroy the character for this track to work. Kuhu and Mishti had to be at their most vulnerable state. I have said this in another post but I'll write it again.

At their most vulnerable, Mishti becomes prone to doubt the love and affection she receives and tends to work even harder to gain affection from authority figures (in this case, Meenakshi) and Kuhu gets blinded by her fear of being forgotten and left alone where Mishti comes in because of her past experiences in the MH. This vulnerability works in favour of Meenakshi and that is why she got to work on the day of the marriage itself. She wants to strike the iron when it's hot.

If you notice, since the Nishant track, things have been going wrong for Kuhu. Nishant's heart got broken minutes or an hour before his wedding was about to take place, her divorce got revealed minutes before everything was about to get solved, the pill got into the coffee seconds before she was about to put it in. (There was no need to include the coffe part here but it went with the seconds/minutes before thing😛). The only common factor in the first 2 situations was Mishti and all that was required now on Meenakshi's side was to increase this feeling by attacking Kuhu's insecurities by repeating over and over again that she is Parul's DIL and acting as the goodie MIL.

Hearing this Parul thing over and over just solidified her fears of becoming inconsequential in a household where Mishti is present. As mentioned before, her fear makes her blind because she has probably experienced a version of this situation multiple times and she had thought that once she got married, she would never have to deal with the feeling related to this. But destiny had other plans.

So, basically what I am saying is that all the characters are in character. We're not able to see the storyline as a whole because of the way it's being shown on-screen. The underlying story requires the pace to be slower but the ongoing track requires the pace to be fast.

I hate that Kunal is going to everyone but Kuhu but the writers seem to be trying to build the devar bhabhi bonds right now so we're seeing more of KuBir and MishNal. MishBir have to have scenes because main leads so we're stuck with zero scenes. They probably have some big scene planned where they need to show devar-bhabhi bonding being pretty strong. So, baad me ajeeb na lage, uss se better hai ki pehle sab log dukhi ho jaaye.
