as expected initially kunal was made villian with his unjustified hatred & meenu's brainwashing him against mish

and now just because he supports the leads he is positive character suddenly without any redemption of all of his acts👎🏼

and now kuhu is being made vamp with her constant blaming, same path will be followed by her too🤢

kaveri rocked that plain outfit too, and she is getting to explore her acting skills🥳

also if someone can explain about kunal going to mishti every now & then & taking her advice, does that make sense?

I mean I can understand that as soon as kunal realised that abir chose him over mishti, he forgave her & let go of his hatred and started compensating for the sacrifice that abir made for him

but kunal has only taken meenu, kuhu & abir's advice till now (wo toh naanu ki bhi advice nahi leta yaar), but now he seeks mishti's opinions & suggestions so frequently so has kunal accepted her as a mature & sensible person, who can guide him to correct path? looks very out of character for him, specially given that he is the same old kunal when it comes to his bhai, meenu, kuhu

infact parul acceptance mein bhi kunal ka reluctance was shown but in mishti's case he suddenly has no reservations!!

Okay honestly today’s episode was too much. Kunal literally has no mind of his own. He started the episode by saying that he only has one mother and ended the episode by calling Parul “maa”. Bruh. A flip like that in less than 20 minutes of content. Not believable OR digestible. In their craziness to be the fixer uppers, Abir and Mishti LITERALLY do not know when to stop meddling. And Kuhu could’ve 100% given that saree to Parul, but she was probably way too busy in event preparation that she overlooked it. And when Mishti remembered, couldn’t she have given Kuhu the gift to give to Parul? But no. Mishti HAD to be the one to gift it to Parul just to make Kuhu look like the shallow one with a superiority complex.

I just want to cry. Kunal and Kuhu’s story is actually over. It looks like the makers don’t want to explore their story any further. WHY does this always happen to me? From Kabir-Anushka in Saraswatichandra to Lakshman-Urmila in Ramayan and Naksh-Keerti in YRKKH, I’ve been falling over and over and over for the parallel/supporting couples instead of the main couple and it’s made my life MISERABLE. Allow me to go dig myself a hole and sob in it.

💔I think I should stop watching the show. I was watching it only for KuKu. And dkp has marvelously ruined them. Seriously making Kuhu say "Nokrani ki daughter in law". Did they forget k it was kuhu who gave Kunal a new perspective about Parul Maasi (green tea scene)? And she was the one who wanted her advice on the decor for mandap on Neha's function? They've not only ruined Kuku, they have ruined Kuhu-Parul beautiful bond.

@bold - Yup

Apparently according to ITV only the leads have storylines, feelings, intelligence and content to make a show run.

see I can accept kuhu as grey character, I mean I dont mind, had accepted kunal too, but atleast give a solid reasoning, support her behaviour by your writing & scenes yaar👎🏼

bas sabko ek dialogue de diya ki 'kuhu immature hai wo aisi hi hai', isse kya hoga, matlab hum idiot hai jo kuhu ko as vamp accept kar le achanak se because everyone in the show is on repeat mode with this single dialogue

as viewers we have been seeing her since 1yr, we have seen how she has handled her fake marriage, her career, her both families with such grace, dignity, inspite of dealing with the disaster of her life, her fairytale turning into a nightmare(both before leap & after leap) and we have even seen her before marriage too🤓

so how do you expect us to just delete our old memories & make a fresh start, just because current track ki demand hai🤢

typical itv standards, ruin all other characters to glorify leads

kunal ke baad ab kuhu ka number hai, next ketu ka aayega, one by one everyone's character will be turned grey

Hello disappointed people of the AT,

I am here, as usual, when you're all asleep. So, whenever you read this, I hope this post gives some perspective (my perspective) into the track that's running these days.

I would like to take you back to the 'Parul being let out of the jail' episode. We had a scene with Meenu and Abir where Abir said and I quote, "Agar aaj ke baad aap ne kisi bhi aise insaan ko use karne ki koshish ki jis se mai pyaar karta hu, to mai aapke saamne khada milunga, unki dhaal ban ke". This track is the culmination of that scene.

This track is Abir trying to take away Meenu's power and influence away from over all family members. And the first step or rather the first target had to be Kunal because he has been the most used pawn. The saddest part of the track is the fact that all the people that have been used as pawns are the characters whose stories we had been waiting for: Kunal, Kuhu, Parul and this affects the relationships surrounding them.

I don't think the writers really know how to manage the tracks here because Abir-Meenu-Mishti ke chakkar me Kunal-Parul-Kuhu suffer ki story suffer kar rahi hai. They are being used to create the drama.

Okay! That's all I wanted to say here😔

I also didnt like her much in the initial episodes, infact I only liked abir

but there were moments when kuhu shined, like when kunal's rishta for mishti was accepted by bm-bp after rejecting kuhu, she put aside her liking & prioritised her family's wishes, then there were scenes when she had the urge to do the wrong thing & she would have been justified too but she chose to rise above those temptations❤️

When I still had hope for Kuhu and Mishti's relationship to be dealt with in a nuanced way, Kevin and Randall's relationship was the model I wanted it to emulate. You start the show thinking one is the long-suffering, dependable one and one the unlikeable brat, but as the characters develop you realise they both have likeable and unlikeable sides to them, and both have experienced their common childhood in vastly different ways. Like you said Snow, the way out of Kevin's downward spiral was his family acknowledging his problems and feelings, not dismissing them as "wrong" and punishing him.

I don't want to give away too much because I don't want to spoil anything, but I just LOVE that the writers of TIU aren't afraid to make their most beloved characters deeply unlikeable at certain moments. So few shows, in any language really, have the courage to create sustained drama purely through convincing emotional conflict.

I wanted the MishKu relationship to emulate Kevin and Randall too!!! I had started watching ITV again looking for something to quench my need for a story about family dynamics after season 3 got over and I had somehow found YRHPK. I was so happy with where things had reached till the leap that I could not believe that I was watching an ITV show. I had never seen one before which dealt with relationships at this level. I really hope the writers get their mojo back because the show seems too rushed these days and the dearth of KuKu scenes makes it no better.

Though, I have to say I am excited about the upcoming Meenu-Abir scene. I feel the credit for this excitement goes to you and DQ because I don't think I could have seen Meenu's character in a different light if it weren't for the discussions on the post where I first interacted with you both.

Oh! Oh! Oh! I made a post on the precap and I would love it if you both shared your thoughts. You don't have to reply on the post if you don't wish to participate in the main forum. Just let me know your thoughts somehow😶

@Bold - I love shows that can deal properly with emotional conflict. If you've seen any good shows, feel free to make suggestions🤗
