my understanding of meenu:

from meenu's perspective she is doing everything that she can to protect her sons(mostly abir) from the heartbreak & ruining their own lives because of their so called love (as per her its not true love & it is just attraction/infatuation), and then living in the guilt of it throughout their lives

because that is what she did in mehul's case, fell in love with a wrong guy, eloped with all her father's money and that guy ruined her life by not just betraying her but having one more wife, illegitimate son, and so many frauds done😭

so meenu in her youth ruined not just her life, but the whole family name, business, property etc. and she sees abir as repeating the same mistakes, he has similar temperament like hers, she was also a rebel in her youth & could go to any lengths for her love, same is in abir's case & even in his love i.e. mishti's case, she sees her as mirror image of mehul, his biological origins were questionable, same is with mishti so she sees it as a repeat telecast of her own life🤢

on top of that she holds grudges from her parents for not being able to protect her from falling in love with mehul, running away with him etc., so those unhealed wounds & unmet expectations have made her a cold & over-protective mother💔

but she doesnt know that every person is different, just because mehul & mishti had similar background etc., doesnt mean they will do similar things and also that no matter how hard she tries, ultimately abhinal have their own destiny and if they are meant to suffer heart break then they will, destiny will find its own way to give them what all they are destined for

so in nutshell she is blinded by the pain of her own wounds of past and she loves abir most so she can go to any extreme to protect(that is what she thinks she is doing) him

on topic:

abhinal bringing out truth in this manner is like scratching her wounds in public, the ones which she was trying to hide from everyone, so she will be devastated & more dangerous

p.s. thanks to aqua, sam, dq, snow and other members of kuku at, it was their analysis that has helped me understand meenu's perspective, infact as per me, she is the most tortured soul of this show (yeah thats true, even more than mishti, because her wounds have made her become her own enemy)🥺

Aqua, I have stopped watching the show for now. I watch the KuKu AT and the forum loosely. So, I dont even know what the precap is like. 😕

However, if you ask me, I am still very disappointed and dissatisfied with the way the leads' story has evolved. Perhaps Abir is getting there and I am missing the story by skipping the episodes. So far it seems like the makers are still holding the leads to a lower standard than I like to watch. I'll explain how

Bigben is still making silly plans. 😡 The quality has improved. However its still not there. And if the sexiest male lead on the desi TV cant diffuse her powers in a smarter manner, I dont see much fun there

I have some hope in the way Abir has managed kuhu and roped parul in (mind you it's all 2nd hand info. It's all based on what I have read)... instead of angering bigben he has worked on diffusing her powers. He acted behind the scenes. 👏 That is the only way bigben can be made to realise that her precious son is the head of the family, not some najayaz guy. Kunal and parul work tirelessly to ensure bigben does not feel threatened.

However my hopes crash the minute I see that Abir wants to bring the truth out. Truth that Parul and bigben guarded with all their might. I see it as forcing kunal to change his bearings and that is so unfair. Wasn't kunal told he can take as much time as he wants to process the truth? Abir has so little understanding that for kunal acknowledging parul as ma is the same as acknowledging Abir is sautela. 💔That is a no go zone for kunal. Bhrata prem is his mantra in life. Abir has so much privilege yet he refuses to act on it. Instead he keeps on angering bigben. Trying to amputate bigben from the precariously crafted world around her. Exposing her is not how you can manage her. This is also why mami for example decides to act stupid and deflect any attention from her.

That mahoosive chip on Abir's shoulder needs to come off. It's not easy being bigben's son.😭 However, it's not too hard to just give her the perception of power either. Unless that happens, Abir and Mishti cannot have a peaceful married life.

From Meenu's perspective, till now she was playing on the defensive, trying to make Abir understand by hook or by crook, but she had boundaries to be worried about. Abir has removed the boundaries now by making her worst fears come true. She has nothing left to lose now. Well, except the whole family who still in one way or another respect her but uski 25 saal ki mehnat khatam ho chuki hai with the truth coming out to the world.

we will talk about other family members... she never treated her bro in good manner nor he is capable of managing a single thing...

coming to ketu she just wants her to get married to ved after knowing he is already the prev day...

im not saying she didnt undergo any pain but i cant treat her as MAHAAN who gave shelter to sautan and rasied her son as own... parul came to meenu but meenu accepted her... parul never asked meenu to accept and the way she is treating kunal after parul saying truth is not making me to feel the pain of her sacrifice...

im not saying she shouldnt stop her sons from getting hurt or love failures but mishku both proved they fit thier sons and they has capacity to protect their husbands and deal with them in worst manner times and at the same time both never break her family...

Just want to say one thing Abir is not doing all this just to erase chances of meenu blackmailing him again.. no abir never even thought of that after the blackmail came out in open he has even said about it to mish so why will he fear of it... why will he want to close doors for meenu in blackmail when there is actually no open doors...

His only concern is giving parul maasi her right as a mother... and for kunal to accept her.. Abir is insensitive at times but then when he realizes what he did is mistake he do try to rectify it with whatever he can do... now too i'm hoping the same... he never intended to hurt meenu even if she has done alot to take his happiness away just bcoz of her own fear he does love her..

And mishbir helping out kunal, abir just adviced him this time to do what he feels is right, he never said go accept her in public.. about mishti kunal himself came to take her advice bcoz she is someone who left her family to come n live with another family which is somewhat relatable for him he is having his original family too n also his adopted family...

I didnt feel for her. She literally has used parul and paruls son for her own benefit.. surpressed parulsvoice. Parul didnt know about meenu. There is only so much fault she can have. Meenu knowingly has done so much wrong, i feel mayve 2% empathy for her

Also abir had 0 intention of taking away a blackmail card all he wanted was for a woman to have her own son call her mom. Whats wrong in that? Parul has been ignored her feelings ignored and controlled by meenu for years so much so that she barely has a thought without meenus consent. She has a fight as a mother.

Hey aqua.. sorry but I didn't feel bad for her. She got what she did. Can't forget her innumerable blackmails, plans and twisted ways at getting to every member she's ever interacted. What happened today was just a little taste of what she does to people. Makers are trying to create sympathy and have already tried during baba track but it doesn't work, at least on me.

Before I react on anything else, I have to say in all of this, the best line was the "sexiest male lead not being able to diffuse BB's power"

Coming back to the post, you're right that Abir hasn't reached "there" yet. That is probably because he has never had to play the game but does the ML ever need to learn? (Stupid thought/imagination going through my head: Abir walking into an academy for MLs. He is given a tour and is shown a classroom filled with MLs over the years and they are being taught how to balance their lives between wife and mother🙈🤪)

I can't really say to what degree but I feel BB will become tad bit more dangerous. I assume we will get to see the full potential only after she is disowned by AbiNal. I do feel, as I mentioned in the AT yesterday, Parul will become a target rather than a friend because of this truth reveal. On second thoughts, we can probably add KuKu to the mix. All 3 are gonna get hurt in this fight between mother and son.

I have been saying the same thing! Why won't Abir stop forcing Kunal?? He was promised as much time as he wanted then why this hurry??? Does he not realise that he is hurting his Nanko?? Do you think somewhere down the line these 2 brothers will go through separation?

I am guessing that for Abir, getting married to Mishti was basically winning half the battle against BB (to the other people reading this, I do not mean that Abir sees Mishti as a trophy or something. Please do think that. I could find a better way to phrase my sentence). What he hasn't realised is how far BB is willing to take this battle. That one mistake of getting married to Mehul changed her whole life but Abir hasn't comprehended that. That is probably the reason why he refuses to act on his privilege. The dude has yet to know Meenu. He was so obsessed with finding his absent father that he never concentrated on his ever present mother. He is just working according to the limited knowledge he has.
