I don't think this is true... Today Head of Reliance (they are distributing and producing both Sooryavnshi and 83) said there is no change of relase date of 83 and Sooryavanshi...

Now Akki fans are trending they want Sooryavanshi on 10th April 83's release date. 😆

I think Sooryavanshi team (kjo, Rohit) wants 10th April but 83 producers (Sajid Nadiadwala, Phantom, Vishnu Indurai) are not willing to give up that date.

If this is due to Corona how much difference will two weeks make? WHO just declared it a pandemic so I don’t know if April will be much better.

No films should release till mid May atleast. Corona is on everyone's mind, be it a kid, a teen, adult everyone. Why would anyone risk their lives? People are just not willing to visit cinemas right now. Baaghi 3 was supposed to do atleast 250 cr after the second part did 150 cr. And here it's barely gonna reach half of that 250 cr. Corona has single-handedly hit hard and broken Tiger's biggest franchise.

True,It is a wait and watch situation if things does not get better both the movies have no other choice but to postpone... even Reliance in the statement stated if at all there is a need for change of release date they will do it date closer to the original release date, implying they are also waiting and monitoring the situation.

I0th April is Good Friday holiday,Sooryavanshi makers most probably wanted to book a holiday if the film is getting postponed.
