If Ananya can accept her in the family, why do she struggle to accept Mishti.

I don't think it's Mishti's fault that BP and BM decided to take her in and raise her as her own daughter. It was a great thing to do on their part.

I have the same question as you do. I haven't seen the parent show but I've read up and skimmed through scenes to understand MishKu's relationship. According to me, Kuhu should have been super accepting of Mishti at the beginning. We haven't been shown the backstory so I am not sure what really transpired between them but from what we've been shown and my understanding, it seems that Kuhu is annoyed that she had to share her possessions, her room and her family. That is what she says on the surface. But my understanding of her character says that those things wouldn't be that big of an issue for Kuhu. The major issue has to be something bigger and related to being neglected by the Maheshwari family and that is the underlying reason for this hatred.

Kuhu tries to fulfill her need for attention by being a social media star and her #kuhuness behaviour we were shown after the leap. She makes good for people, helps them out whenever they need and other small small things. She wants to be in the limelight because she fears to be forgotten when Mishti comes into picture because when other people are in the limelight, it doesn't bother her. That makes me feel that something like that has happened before. Now, if it's one specific bigger event or multiple smaller incidents, that I don't know.

We were told during the first rasoi competition that everyone forgot her birthday but Mishti remembered and baked her a brownie and that memory holds a special place in all of their hearts. Kuhu even came and hugged her after that scene, so the real question is: what really happened??

Looks like an interesting day in the forum. 😆😉

There are a lot of interesting discussions going on here in the AT and I think disappointment is a major understatement to describe KuKu fans' feelings right now.

What have the writers done to Kuhu and Kunal's character?

Kunal has been demoted to a side character now. In this track, his character has the same importance to the story as mamaji and Nanu. He just reacts to some situations if it involves his bhai otherwise his character is just there in the crowd of family members reacting to the dialogues that other characters say. I am extremely disappointed with his character's lack of development. His character had so much potential but now he has absolutely nothing to do than support his bhai. Such a waste of an amazing layered character and a good actor. If the actors renew their contracts yearly then I hope Ritvik seriously thinks about renewing it. He was the lead actor in his previous show and now he has been reduced to a side character. He is very young, can act well, dance well and he is very good looking, I am sure he can get a lead role if he leaves this show, where his character is just like a piece of furniture.

And coming to Kuhu, can the writers stop showing her as this dumb and self-obsessed person. I am sure there are many other ways to glorify the lead without making Kuhu's character act like this. And now they are showing that she is instigating Abir against Mishti? How can Kuhu not know that when it comes to Mishti, Abir doesn't care about anyone or anything. I have not watched Mishbir storyline since the first week of the show and whatever I know about their relationship is from the scenes that Abir has with Kunal. But from the way Abir talked to Kunal for Mishti, I am 100% sure that he will never believe anything bad about Mishti. Ever. So they are basically using Kuhu's character to show how the leads' relationship is strong and how they truly love each other. 🤔But one good thing about this track is Kaveri gets to explore her acting skills in various shades of Kuhu.

And about KuKu, there were no scenes of them together but from the way Kunal questioned Kuhu in front of everyone just proves the fact that Kunal is just not meant to be in a romantic relationship with anyone. He has an emotional range of a teaspoon and whatever emotions he feels are reserved only for his Bhai. ( Pihu I hope you caught the HP reference there 😃) Even if Kuhu was wrong, there was a better way to question her. On top of that, looks like he will not talk to her about his. Instead of him Parul Maasi will talk to her because she is her saas? Shouldn't Kuhu's husband discuss this issue with Kuhu instead of Parul Maasi? 😕

I wish we could've seen what transpired after Kunal "kidnapped" Kuhu and the supposed "badtameezi" she did but lagta hai ki MishBir shower romance ke saamne wo thoda PG-13 ho jaata so let's keep it clean and insert Audrey's HC here because it fits perfectly in the storyline. For some reason, Kuhu's "Mummy! Mirchi!" stood out for me or maybe Varsha stood out. I have been too focussed on her since she shouted at Kuhu for no reason at all🤪. Koi bacha hai Maheshwari pariwaar me jo Holi ke din Kuhu pe na chillaya ho? Yes! Shaurya! Bechaare ko dialogue kam milte but stand out to kar hi jaate hai Kuhu ke pyaare Papa.

Someone please tell me how do BB's ideas work when they are so dependent on other people? That woman must be super observant to know how each person reacts in any situation. Bas Abir ko hi nahi samajh paayi hai ye. Ghar pe nahi rehta tha na ladka isliye outsmart kar deta hai har baar😉.

I have a feeling Abir already knew about the coffee and the pills and everything. He just didn't know about Mishti knowing hence the fight. Also, bhai to apne Nanko ka hai so ek tactless comment to banta hi hai.

Coming back to our KuKu, who are as gaayab in this post as they were in the episode, who the hell is writing their characters right now? Kuch bhi ho raha hai. Atleast, Kunal apne Bhaiyopia me consistent to hai but what happened to Kuhu? Actually nahi, she is also consistent with her...behenopia??...Mishti jaap??...when she shouldn't be. What are these writers doing?

Precap: I feel Nami's prediction will turn out to be true. I have only one complaint: Kuhu ke character ka itna sudden shift dikhaana zaroori hai kya? The girl isn't dumb. She has Nanko getting fired for berating Mishti and not just once but multiple times to fir wo apne paer pe kulhaadi kyun maaregi??🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

And as I had thought, mood dipped a little after putting all of this in words🙄😒

The first thing I want to address is that everyone may not be a girl on this AT. Most of us, yes! All of us, maybe not. Let's try and be as gender neutral as possible if that's okay with everyone. Sorry if this came out as a rude comment. That wasn't the intent nor the tone I imagined in my head. This is just me trying to be as inclusive on the AT as I am constantly trying to be in real life.

Coming to your post, kuch hai nahi mere paas kehne ko because you said it all. I just made this post so that I could tell you that I got the HP reference and when I read it, I saw Ron's face in my head in that very instant😆

Parul maasi is taking this saas duty too seriously achanak se. Maybe because Benba ne green signal de diya hai. Parul needs to calm down but that won't happen because Kuhu's insecurities need to be fueled again and again. Ab kisi ko to catalyst ban na padega hi.

@Red: I think Parul maasi is suddenly in the saas mode because writers want to show Kuhu more insecure because she is not the "real" bahu of Rajvash family. I am sure Kuhu will be extra rude towards Parul in the coming episodes. Now that Meenu is behaving super sweet in front of everyone, they need someone who increases the negativity in RV Sadan and Kuhu is the perfect scapegoat for this purpose. 😔

@Bold: WFH days are the best. 👍🏼 But in this case the reason for it really sad. Everyone from my work is also WFH. They found a positive case in an employee of my office building and closed off the entire place for cleaning, which will take a few weeks since it is one of the tallest skyscrapers in the city. God knows how long this chaos will last. I am so glad that I am on an extended leave for now so I don't have to take the crowded subway to work. It's such a scary situation.

But WFH means you get to watch the show in peace at home and you can also come to the AT whenever you want 😆

Well, I use screenshots and import them into a photo editing/graphics design software. Then I simply play around. I'm not a pro yet so I end up using the same tools but I hope to experiment more.

At present, I'm trying to find the right software for photo and video editing - not too pricey but I want more than just simple editing.

I used to have photoshop but adobe is extortionate! I think I must've bought the subscription when I was drunk 😆. Having said that, photoshop was great for making siggies and GIF's.

Siggie is short for signature; text or editied images or gif's. Traditionally, you could set a signature so whenever you posted, it would appear so everyone could see it but with the new IF, it is disabled by default. We can click the 'show signature' toggle switch to show all signatures but you have to do that everytime you login.

I'm trying out Affinity Photo, the free trial to make siggies. Unlike Photoshop you can't make gifs but the tools are similar and software isn't bloated. With Photoshop, you could import a short video clip, convert them to individual frames, adjust the speed and individually style each frame if you wanted.

Click the 'Show signature' switch and you should be able to see my signature - I made this gif in Photoshop.

I am yet to find software, other than Photoshop, where I can create gifs without pulling out my hair. And because of my shameful adobe subscription I got 4 free exports in Adobe Premier Rush which I can use to make vm's so I need to use them wisely.
