after watching last 2 episodes I am hopeful for kuhu, kuku, mishku dtory & the overall show again now
see from where I see it, its time for mishku bond to take centrestage now
meenu's plan is to prove that these 2 girls are not right for her sons, if we go by the cliche itv standards it would have been that in the plan to divide the 2 sisters her own sons part ways, but I am glad that this show is taking different route
so instead it will be something like that meenu will end up uniting the sisters & healing their bond and her plan of using mishku as pawns will backfire by destiny, destiny will use abhinal as pawns to heal the sis bond & unite them
also it is clear now that its abir, for whom meenu cares the most & is worried the most, my theory is that she sees herself in abir, see in her youth she ran away to marry mehul, the biological origins of whom were questionable but she was rebel & madly in love, she sees the same rebellious attitude in abir & mishti coming from a broken family is like a repeat telecast for her story being repeated by abir, so she is over protective for him, its her old unhealed wounds which make her so
but in 2 recent fiascos she targetted mishti recently via kuhu, the magalsutra & the sleeping pills, both were meant to heart mishti but ended up hurting abir, the necklace was something most precious for abir, he chose it and saved it in childhood, and abir ended up drinking the coffee, so the crux is that everytime meenu tries to harm mishti, abir will come in between & will end up saving her but getting harmed instead, so eventually meenu will have to realise that mishbir are each other's saviour & her wounds which have made her prejudiced towards mishti that she comes from broken home so will also break her home will be proven wrong
but there is a long way to that, since that is the basic crux of this show, but in that journey meenu will end up unintentionally doing more good rather than bad
kuku relation is one example of that, kuhu was supposed to be the collateral damage & meenu expected that they will use her to separate abir, but look how badly it backfired
first of all kunal had to marry her because of abir (during 1st wedding), then later on the girl ended up being the most loved member of their house, I mean she enchanted everyone with her spell, her kuhuness in the house, even kunal eventually fell in love with her & ended up remarrying her
and something similar will happen with mishti, but on a larger scale & more clear to our eyes instead of being subtle like kuku story
my only complain is that the makers should deal with it properly, slowly & gradually, like mishnal bond was one such opportunity, it would have been better if they showed it developing slowly, but instead of the process of healing, forgiving & accepting they rushed it and showed the final outcomes, like kunal giving red pear to mishti, him calling her favourite etc., I liked it initially when he was making efforts towards accepting her as bhabhi & was confused as what to call her, if they would have given us their such small talks, confusions, apprehensions, it would have made it a better track & kuku fans would have been able to accept mishnal bond like everyone had accepted kubir bond
even though both abir & kuhu are expressive still this bond took its own time to develop & we were given good scenes to show the development, so accepting mishnal bond so soon, where both mishti & kunal are introverts, became difficult to accept
so the actual challenge in this show lies in execution, the plot is already great & the tracks that the makers come up with are equally good, but most of the times their execution spoils them
as a family show this show will always have family issues at core of its plot, so expecting a love story taking centrestage, be it mishbir or kuku will be too much to ask, the love stories will be used to propel the plot further and to show the growth of the characters, like in mishbir story the banjara has become the peacemaker of the family, the victim, self pitying mishti became an empowered, brave woman
also in rjv house abir is the glue that keeps everyone together & united, when he was not around everyone was living their own personal lives, but when he entered he was the epicentre & everyone was around him, thats what he is to the rjv house, their abir, their colour, and mishti is that link that ties & keeps this banjara abir into that house, this journey has already been shown to us
but when it comes to kuku their love story is different, they are still yet to get their epic love story, I do not know if the makers will do justice to their story or will just sideline them & use as side characters to progress the leads story but I am hopeful seeing the kuku fandom & the kuhu's character as it was written, I mean the makers will require her kuhuness every now & then to lighten the drama filled lives of the leads, so I think they will slowly but steadily continue exploring the kuku love story too
see honestly we didnt get much scenes during kuku 1st marriage & divorce track too, but whatever we got was impactful (though the credit goes equally to the writers & actors)
phew rant over...hopefully😉
