@bold1 - its a bad way of showing even Kuhu is reprimanded for her mistakes, when in the past Varsha had always questioned mishti.😆

Abir has always reprimanded Kunal but he gives in easily too whenever Kunal starts his tantrums. For Abir, peace was always important than proving his point to Kunal. Also Abir has the right to react impulsively with Kunal. But with Kuhu, he has to deal with her tactfully.....he can't shout at her to make her understand. When the email fiasco came out he didn't blame her even if Mishti bore the brunt of it, likewise in this also he myt try to coddle her... pata nahin. But Kuhu is making things difficult for herself by badmouthing Mishti to Abir....so I am awaiting for his reaction on this.

@bold2 - I dnt know ......mishti is better disciplinarian than Abir😆....Abir wouldn't get angry.....honestly I am afraid of his anger than Mishti's ......😆Mishti ko bura lage na lage ....mujhe zarur lagega....😆 Jealousy genes needs to be triggered in Abir for his anger to come out....😆......I dnt have the strength to watch it again .....

Mmmm i get it... abir is peace maker but i always expected him to be hard on everyone.. like everyone from mish, kuhu, whomever it is but he only shows this right on meenu n kunal now in mishti... dont know suddenly i feel him saying all this n angry on mish is haq se... see he never got angry even if they do any mistake apart from meenu, kunal even mish the disastrous market incident 😆 about kuhu lets see my hope solely is on the way his jaw clenched on precap, so something is coming up...

Yes, I like both Abir and Shaheer.

Par itna bhi shallow nahin hoon that I defend the actions of a character just because I like them or that I like the actor!

I had stopped watching KRP for some time in between since I didn't agree with the way it was shaping up even though I loved Dev and Shaheer both.

At the end of the day, most people with even normal intelligence are here for the story and not just one character.

And I do call him out when he does stupid stuff. Have been constantly ranting and showing my anger on Abir for his bro jaap for days now! So today I loved the episode simply for the fact that at least now he knows what all bro is capable of! I breathed a sigh of relief today...

i still feel it's too early to decide if he is taking Kuhu's side and trying to protect/pander her. Yes, he shouldn't have been so casual about Mishti's concerns, but at the same time I do think he is right about it not being the right time to expose Kuhu. He hasn't gotten any time to process all the facts that he heard from the sisters, he still doesn't know that the spiked drink was actually not meant for him but Mishti and he is quite sure of how his ma and Kunal will react to this matter.

Also, the fact is we are yet to see tomorrow's episode. We don't really know if he is trying to hide things because of Kuhu pandering or he has something else in mind.

And in his defense he asked Jugnu to throw away the bottle before he came to know it was Kuhu. And the way I looked at it was that he was trying to put the Mahs at ease since their daughter was accused there. It was his way of diffusing the situation at that time since he wanted to investigate the matter himself.

I don't think today he didn't support Mishti and favored Kuhu. He does have a different thought process and approach than Mishti when it comes to handling family things. And in real life too, husbands and wives don't just agree to each other because they are married. So I didn't take it as him not supporting Mishti. Yes, he should have been little more sensitive to Mishti, but he fumbled and made a mistake which hopefully he will rectify tomorrow.

Let's wait and see what happens in the next episode. If he continues with his bro jaap and keeps enabling her tantrums to keep shanti in the house, I will join you in band bajaoing him. Till then, he deserves the benefit of the doubt...

Mishti should totally ignore him as a punishment for being insensitive!! And she should totally employ no talk/no touch policy with him for days if he supports bro tomorrow!

I do understand your point that story moved a bit today and AM got a substantive convo after many days so that was nice :)

But with Abir, I guess his blind defense of Kuhu has gone on for SO long, even more than with Kunal, I feel skeptical of giving him benefit of doubt about this 🤷‍♀️....and it’s even worse when his coddling of Kuhu comes at the price of hurting Mishti, even if it was unwittingly.

I know his approach towards family is different, and I’m saying I’ve never agreed with it 😛...he spoilt the hell out of Kunal and has used this “let’s suppress things for family Shanti” funda before in Meenu’s case also. His token lectures to Kunal and Meenu never meant anything cuz they never learnt their lessons 🤷‍♀️....even now Kunal has suddenly been made extra nice to Mishti only for story convenience, without any proper addressing of his misbehavior with her for so long. Bas “bhai ke liye” bol le baat nipta Diya 🙄....

Abir ended up enabling Kunal for a very long time because bas thoda sa scold kar ke bhool jaate the. He’s now doing the same with Kuhu. Saying that she is childish so let her be, don’t react so that there is peace in the family. But at what cost, Abir?

Yes, pati shaadi ke baad badal jaate hain 😆....and I’m not saying that pati patni need to agree on everything. Come on 😕....my point was about a supportive way of handling it.

Abir lost track of this when he became extra fixated on how Kuhu, Kunal would react rather than trying to make Mishti understand. No matter what, Mishti is his wife. He has to think about how she feels too rather than constantly pandering to spoilt brats or plotters like his Mom 🙄.

I also find all this ironically amusing because when he was trying to patch up with her after the break up, he kept saying that he makes wrong decisions when Mishti is not with him 😆....aur ab Mishti saath mein hai bhi toh he’s being dismissive of her POV and fixating on Kuhu? Lol

I know we need to wait till the next few epis to see how it all plays out. But I’m just pointing out how the writing flips daily and anyone’s POV becomes shallow overnight 🤷‍♀️😆....like yesterday Mishti was supposedly insecure of Kuhu 🙄 and in today’s epi, Abir was dismissive of both the gravity of what Kuhu did as well as Mishti by saying Mishti just likes to fight her way through everything.

This is why I remain skeptical of what Abir will do. If he pleasantly surprises me, I will give him full brownie points.

He needs to realize how vulnerable Mishti is too and she needs him more than his so called “bro”.
