Sigh, Khalil. I think channels are only inviting him because they know that this man and the controversies he causes gives them views.

And I don't think people particularly agree with or like Marvi either, but his reaction was such an icky overreaction.

And I really don't appreciate the way he's trying to spin this now. He's trying to give the impression that he's going on some kind of mission for spreading religion. In a way it's clever because he's playing up to the support he got online and it shuts down certain debates, because no-one really wants to challenge faith, right?

We haven't heard anything from Mehwish, have we?

You nailed it. Men ka toh chalo ek baar ko nazar andaaz bhi karde but how are women not seeing how unequally n unfairly they are treated. If not their own daughters, how can they forget the atrocities they encountered themselves.

You want to know why? First in Islam women are ordered to obay their men and respect them, I think Hindus believe in this too. In Holy Quraan :

(4:34) "Men are in charge of women, as Allah has made one of them superior to the other, and because men spend their wealth for the women; so virtuous women are the reverent ones, guarding behind their husbands the way Allah has decreed guarding; and the women from whom you fear disobedience, (at first) advise them and (then) do not cohabit with them, and (lastly) beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek to do injustice to them; indeed Allah is Supreme, Great" . In Hadeeth Shareef too ,

Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:

I heard Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "All of you are guardians and are responsible for your wards. The ruler is a guardian and responsible for his subjects; the man is a guardian and responsible for his family; the woman is a guardian and is responsible for her husbands house and his offspring; and so all of you are guardians and are responsible for your wards."

Sadly some men misuse the rights and the responsibility which Allah gave them, and illtreat women . This doesn't mean that we go against Islam and follow another cultures. Their are rules put on women dressing, work and socializing in Islam. Many of those fiminists don't follow which makes traditional and religios women go against them.😊

Secondly, Aurat March is about giving women their 'due' rights, which women are deprived of. That's it.

Im not an expert in islam nor am i a follower. So to me women being under men idealogy is not acceptable at all. In Hinduism, there is no explicit religious rule that projects women as subpar to men but it is more of a cultural thing. And hence it is easier to defy, deny and change those beliefs. Which i understand is not possible in Islam.

In my personal opinion, some of the above stated rules are no longer valid in today's time. No religion can ever convince me to get beaten up by my husband no matter how big the disobedience. You lay your hand on me, be ready to get your ass kicked no matter what or who.
